Ricardo | 56 comments I think that Joe Biden did last night what President Obama didn´t last week. We could say that he was somewhat aggressive, but definitely, he won the debate. That`s what I expect from Obama in next debates.

Melki | 149 comments Agreed - and I was so relieved. Biden occasionally trips over his own tongue and pulls some boners, but not last night. AND he mentioned the 47% thing, and reminded Ryan of things he voted FOR that he now claims to be against.

I hope Obama was taking notes for the next debate.

Mimi V (naomi_v) | 432 comments Biden was amazing! he knows his stuff and he wasn't afraid to call Ryan on his BS.

specifics on paying for the proposed tax cuts? there are none.
what would you have done differently in Syria? nothing (except change some semantics)

Jimmy Biden, as always, is a working class stiff. I mean that in a good way. He looks like someone out there working hard doing his job. Just a regular guy.

Ricardo | 56 comments Biden did an excellent job in the debate. He made crystal clear that the Romney-Ryan ticket has been built with lie and shenanigans.

message 6: by Robert (new)

Robert Zwilling As long as they stick to the story that the 47 percent comment was not what Romney meant to say because he used the wrong words means nothing they say can be believed. There is no way to know when he is using the correct words to state his position. It is always the cover up and not the deed itself that gets one into trouble.

Lisa (lisarosenbergsachs) | 424 comments Biden nailed it when Ryan made a snide inference to Biden sometimes putting his foot in his mouth. "But I always mean what I say," he said. "And so does Romney."

Yes, people sometimes let slip things they hadn't intended to let out, but they meant what they said. I hope the Democrats keep reminding people about that 47% remark. There are a lot more poor people in the USA than rich ones.
