I once read a comment from someone that Charlie (if I may, sir, be so informal) played the initial game with his characters.

So we have Charles Darney, Charles Dombey, David Copperfield...

However, three swallows does not make a summer, and I beg of you to post if indeed you know of more.

Or if the reviewer was just making it all up...

I can't think of any other obvious major characters with those initials, and Dickens was a pretty prolific writer. You have to wonder whether the reviewer might have spotted a coincidence and got a bit carried away with themselves.
