Cindy Lyle (cindylyle) | 15 comments Hey Lex, thanks for the awesome review, I'm glad you liked it. So what do you want to know about Enthor? In the second book a lot will be explained about his character and the secrets he hides.

Cindy Lyle (cindylyle) | 15 comments Ok, so I'll start with the easy stuff. All of my dragons are four legged. They have immortal souls and most have the ability to shift into a human form. They are highly magical creatures, most of whom use the elements as a power source. They can wield elemental magic easier in human form, but they still have use of it through their breath. Most choose fire but some have used acid, or electricity. They are very arrogant and like to be in control. Most of them are emotionally challenged. They don`t understand love, regret, loyalty or any other emotion they consider ``human and weak.``. The only reason some of them subject themselves to human form is to have better control over the mortals that worshiped them.

Now on to the specifics of Enthor. He is actually an interesting character to write. I wanted him to be the grandfather type, you know the one who everyone looked to for answers, but the more I got into my story, I realized that he was much more than that. He was once a powerful dragon which had thousands of mortals depending on him to teach them magic. He had a purpose and it fed his ego, but that all changed and it left him bitter and angry. The Elements choose Enthor to protect Karah because they knew of his abilities. He is the only dragon that can manipulate appearances. When dragons take on their human forms, they look the same every time, but Enthor can change the way he appears. He can be warrior, Ywari, Kanarah or a common human old man. The Elements wanted Karah hidden from everyone, including themselves so that was why they choose him.But it wasn`t just the Elements that wanted Karah hidden until they needed her. Enthor made a foolish deal with another.

Yes he does take that form so people will trust him. Who dosen't trust a kindly old man who at any moment could possibly rip you to shreds or set you on fire, right?

Could you tell me a little more about the role that the dragons play in your story, at least with out major spoilers?

Cindy Lyle (cindylyle) | 15 comments I have written my novel in first person POV. Two of the main charaters in the book are dragons, so I'm writing from thier point of view. Dragons are not secondary in my story, they are the centre and the story revolves around them. They were created by the four elements and were meant to be thier prized creations, but it dosen't work out that way. Some choose sides, good and evil and others just want to be left alone to rebuild what was taken from them, and what they themselves destroyed.
