I've never read the Children of Hurin--much to your irritation, I know, Lex--but I absolutely love Glaurung in the Silmarillion. The king of all dragons, and an awesome one at that... Yeah, he really deserves more fame. I'm going to read the Children of Hurin soon, I think.
