I hope you'll share your thoughts on the DH books.

@Val - Same to you :) 2012 was bad. I have not heard anyone say it was a good year for them. So.... we can be wary, but this year has got to be better. Really! Plus the world did not end, so that is a plus. Kinda.
Reading Seducing Cinderella
I am not sure what's got me started on the romance. I wonder how long I'll last this time around.
Woohoo Margo! Head to the Diana Rowland thread when you're finished to discuss. I think it's safe actually even if you haven't finished yet, as we've been using the spoiler tag. Can't wait to hear your thoughts. :)
Just finished A Modern Witch and now I'm going to start A Hidden Witch hoping this one is a little better.
Blood Winter (Horngate Witches, #4) by Diana Pharaoh FrancisIt started off slow, but the end made me happy.
I've bought the 2nd Horngate Witches book Llaph, but haven't got round to starting it yet. I think the 4th book is just out, right?
Just finished
. That was "WHOAH". (The Pale Demon of the Harry Dresden world).Reading the novella Aftermath in
and then starting
@ Lannister:Yeah, it came out on the 31 st. I was surprised my library had it so fast. Wish KC books were that way(still waiting for Fury's Kiss) ... or DR books ...
I think the series is still a bit choppy in regards to some things, but I cannot seem to not like it. I was happy because this book had the angels in it ... It was a fast read too.
@Zeenat:
I really liked Ghost Story, I think he did good with the limitations and such. Harry is so smart ...
Llaph, I really liked the little I saw of the angels in the first Horngate book, so I'll keep reading!
Finished
. Not too bad even though I wanted to strangle Clary quite a few times while reading it. It was intense, though.Starting
Yay!
Awesome, Mello! We have about 10,000 words of speculation about Touch of the Demon already in the Diana Rowland thread LOL!
Lannister wrote: "Awesome, Mello! We have about 10,000 words of speculation about Touch of the Demon already in the Diana Rowland thread LOL!"That doesn't surprise me one bit.
Plowing through the Dragonfire series...an older series I recently discovered.

*wanders off muttering about patience*
I hope I get to read the Dresden Files this year. Maybe I should have made it a New Year Resolution, or something.
@ Zeenat:I know just how you feel. :( If I would have started it later I would have had less time to wait for the next one. I just couldn't stop though ... they were like pringles. Kept eating and eating them till there were no more, then did a WTF they're gone and I have to wait to get more.
Trapped (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #5) by Kevin Hearne
Forgot this was on my reader @ 50% ... I also found and read The Damnation Affair (Bannon & Clare, #1.5) by Lilith Saintcrow I did not know that that book was in that new series she started, I skipped starting it. I am so used to her writing books that seem to be part of a series and aren't really (since a lot of the times I feel I am missing something), that I did not even bother to look for it till I went to rate it when I saw it and thought an "oh, that's nice dear" when I read it.

Changes is my husband's favorite book.

You so should not be muttering abt patience!! You're just as bad.... come to think of it.. so am I.. lol.
LOL, I know! We're all the same. As soon as I finished that Diana Rowland book the other day, I was on Goodreads looking to see if there was a date announced for the next book (there isn't). We all want good things NOW! :)
Lannister, I know there is no date for the next KG book, but I'm assuming around the same time, because she has the zombie series also. I'm depressed about the dresden files being over BUTTTT Ever After comes out in 19 days and I am finally (really) starting
. Also reading
Yeah, I think all of DR's Kara Gillian books have been released around the start of the the New Year. Oh well, plenty of time to speculate!Yay on reading A Game of Thrones! Have you seen any of the TV series? Needless to say, the books are much better. I can't wait to hear what you think. I believe we have a GRRM thread if you want to discuss more fully.
I still need to read books 4 and 5 of GoT when I get a chance.Finished
Now I'll be stuck waiting a year for the next one. I am sad.Starting
for a buddy read.
I read:Sacrifice the Wicked (Dark Mission, #4) by Karina Cooper
It was another book I forgot about, but Gilded reminded me of it so I finished it. I hate cliff hangers....
Gilded (The St. Croix Chronicles, #2) by Karina Cooper
I normally don't read steam punk, but I liked her other series so figured I would try it. Wow, what an ending, I was not totally expecting all that.... I did mention I hate cliff hangers right?
Was not really a cliff hanger, but damn so many surprises....
(view spoiler) <--- just venting a bit
On Game of Thrones: I am glad you started Zeenat. That is one really awesome series. Like Mello I also haven't finished the series. I am somewhere in the middle of Book 5 and have been there for months. I dunno when I'll finish it, but the first three books are very very hard to put down.
