I mainly continue to read them to see if Ward was going to resolve Qhuinn/Blay. I still like some of the other characters and like being able to see them from time to time. Now there are a few other things I want to see how she'll manage to resolve. At this point, I don't know how she will do it.

Yeah the Quinn/Blay book might be my last BDB books I read, if it continues going hte direction is going. I really hated the direction it took the last couple of books, but I like Quinn/Blay.

I still haven't read V and Phury's books, even though I promised myself I would. Damn my TBR pile! Hopefully there will be time over the Xmas holidays.

@lannister:
save yourself some frustration and skip fury's book ... v's is better anyways, you wont miss too much!
btw all of the extra h's she adds to names really screws me up ... my screen reader most of the time does not even register them because they do nothing to what the word sounds like, but hey it looks cool right ... ?
But ... but ... I loves Phury and his beautiful hair!! :DSeriously, I do really like Phury and found him an interesting character, even though I know a lot of people don't like his book. I do really want to read it, because you have to judge for yourself, right?

Very true, I will say I liked him a lot better before his book pre-bimbos though, you will see or not.
From the little I've read in reviews and so on, I'm not sure I'll like his woman. But it'll be fun to read. And complain loudly if I hate her!! :)

I just got tired of John's attitude and I really don't like Xhex or Rhevenge very much so there was practically nothing keeping me in the series.

I liked Phury's woman, I didn't like Phury in his book. BDB books have the same problem as the DH books, the guys become pansies too quickly. LOL
I hate it when that happens. At least Da Hotness continues to be arrogant as hell and have a monstrous ego even now that he's with Kate LMAO!!

Or you wait and keep reading something else. Then when you do start reading it you wonder why you waited, because it's really good. I do that all the time.

You always let us know when you finish a book could you
put good, bad or ugly down to let us know if it was worth reading. Not a review just a heads up lol

A lot of people I know feel the same.

I know you won't listen. But don't read V's book. Some of the worst crap I've ever read. LOL

I completely agree.

I've done that, too. Except for the last book that I put off because I was too afraid to read it. I finally read it and then wished I hadn't.
I just finished Carpe Corpus by Rachel Caine, I will say despite the fact I do not really read YA I like this series a hell of a lot more than the Weatherwarden series. I just can’t like Jo; she is just not the type of person I like so I don’t want to read about her. Plus, the death or near death in each book … Bleh. I like Claire a lot more … I do though hate her parents and Monica. Seriously I wish someone/thing would kill her already. Her kind of psycho is … speechless.I am planning on reading Fade Out by Rachel Caine next, my library is stupid as the next book is not available, the book after that is, and the book after that is not. Go fig right?
I did pick up Archangel’s Storm by Nalini Singh, which I had been waiting on. I am not sure I will read it yet or continue reading the Morganville series. They are so short and addicting, the cliff hangers at the end are aggravating though. Just one more …
That's how I felt when reading Morganville Vampires, Llaph. I think Rachel Caine put crack in those books somewhere. I read them back to back once Myrnin was introduced.

Which means I delayed a bunch of things I should have done yesterday. At least I got the bathroom cleaned, I seriously wanted to rush it to get back to reading though. Headphones and eletronics are not a cool thing when you are cleaning a bathroom.
Lol Llaph. I like that those books are so short. I'd read like 1 1/2 books a day when I was getting caught up on them all.@Sarah It is YA/UF.

      *curses*
*adds it to her TBR pile*
But there seem to be lots of extra stories and scenes... Where can I find the reading order?

The only extra story I've read was the story about Myrnin's past, which I found on Rachel's website. I've never paid attention to the rest of them. This isn't the neatest list, but it works: http://www.morganvillevampire.com/
Books 1-9 are at the bottom and then 10-13 are on the top row starting from the right.
Sarah ♥ Vutch forever ♥ wrote: "Thank you. This will help me create a detailed reading order."You do love your lists :P
Btw, this is another series that I can't wait for you to start :)
Lists are life, there would be nothing without lists!I recently saw a book put up on my library site about the origin of lists and what they led to ... wish I could remember the freaking name of it.
I love Myrnin despite his crazy self. It is kind of like sav and his asshole veneer, Would not be the same without the crazy.
BTW I love the name, I wondered why then I thought about it ... wasn't that Pritkin's original name? (I don;'t care if he says John is a good english name it is boring and Pritkin is much better.)
sorry about the random wtf ...
@Llaph: I had to check that out:“Myrddin, in fact, not that I used the name for long. A French poet thought it sounded obscene and changed it. Fair enough; he changed everything else.”
So it's not Myrnin. :(

Lists are fun, awesome and sexy! :-)
Any predictions about who I'll love and hate? LMAO

You will hate Monica, but everyone hates Monica. You'll hate Monica's friends, too.I'm not sure how you will feel about Claire.
You will love Myrnin!
@Llaph I love Myrnin despite all of his crazy, too.

They are fun books and easy to read really fast. They aren't without darker moments the further into the series you get, though. I got addicted once I read book 3.

*sits in lotus position* Sarah, you'll love Myrnin.
You will hate Monica and her friends.
You will also like Eve and Michael.
We'll have to see what you think of Shane and Claire.
I think they're the ones with most character development.
I did mean Shane and Claire. They do evolve the most over the course of the books. As for Myrnin and his crazy.. he would not be Myrnin without the crazy. God I adore him!
Myrnin is just awesome!I've been bad, and haven't checked in for a while.
but here's what I've read since I last posted :)
so after finishing
I read S/S

then...

Plus one or two other short stories

Still love Michelle Sagara - But am miffed that I have to wait a whole year before I get the rest of the damn story.
I enjoyed Gunmetal Magic - but have to say that Andrea irritated me a bit. And personally I would have closed the door on the Raphael issue after the interview. Done. End of relationship story there...lol
Shadowfae was NOT what I was expecting from the synopsis. It wasn't THAT bad... I guess... LOL
I'm just really not a PNR fan. And then, just when the main characters actually got interesting, she went and ended the damn book.
Shaedes of Gray was a great read. And I'm looking forward to getting the next instalment. ;D
I wasn't too taken with Perfect Shadow, and felt Weeks could have done more with it. I loved Durzo's Character in the Night Angel series...his short just didn't live up to expectation unfortunately.
Infinity Blade was fun, and would definitely have made an excellent Novel. I was rather put out when it ended... I wanted MORE!

I finished what Morganville books I had left minus one that my library didn’t have. They don’t have Last Breath yet either (Kiss of Death is MIA) so I am not reading Black Dawn, feels like I would miss too much.I got distracted by a shiny with Rogue Rider by Larissa Ione. I love her books and I was looking forward to how she was going to pull off his story and a HE with a woman and his family after all he had done. I got some surprises too … some I had an inkling about and at least 2 I had no clue at all about and where a pleasant surprise.
I so want Reaver’s book to hurry up and come out now, but it is not supposed to be out till next fall. :(
I read Of Knowledge of Good and Evil by Micah Persell earlier today. It is a short book and quick read she has only 1 more book in this series and it is new. I liked it, there was not very much PNR in it sides the walking lie detector bit. Interesting concept of troops finding the trees of eternal life and of good and evil.
@Val Thanks ;] Gotta keep up my cycling through of Stuart Reardon pics.@Llaph You can absolutely not skip Last Breath. You really would miss a whole lot if you read Black Dawn without reading Last Breath.

That's what I thought when I read the first chapter ... I did a big WTF is going on ... I normally will not read a series out of order, but damnit I wanted to.
I don't blame you, but crucial things happen in Last Breath. It starts the story arc that is continued in Black Dawn and you really don't want to miss what happens in it.

thank you thank you, it is good to have someone alive confirm it. :x
