Using editions with covers as primary entry

I am wondering if it is possible to make an entry that has been recently posted the primary entry for that book under certain conditions. For instance, in the case of:

I have recently posted an entry for the first edition of that book complete with cover. If I or anybody else, looks up the book on GR, we see the entry for the later paperback edition with no cover. I would like the entry with the first edition cover to come up instead. There are many instances of this on GR. Is this possible to do?

Unfortunately, no. The primary edition is the one that has been added by the most users. There is no option to change this at this time.
