ABANDONED. need name of older international relations textbook

Back in 1992 I took an international relations class during my senior year of high school. Our teacher used an interesting textbook that had a bit of a sarcastic tone to it, far from the drier offerings we were used to. It was a paperback and fairly thick, but small in terms of length and height (around 5" by 8"). The cover was black and had a picture of the eastern U.S. and Western Europe as if on a map, but the continents were made up of colored horizontal bars. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I think it might be International Relations:Global Condition in the Late 20th CE. While Goodreads doesn't have a cover image, Amazon has a cover image similar to what you've described.

Let me take a look at this - the cover is different but I may have had a different edition.
