Grace In Crank, Ellen Hopkins demonstrates the use of drugs in a teenager's life in order to illustrate
the dangers and influences it has on a life. Kristina Snow excelled in all her classes. She obtained intelligence, manners, and a great personality. Her life turned upside down after she took a visit to her dad's house in New Mexico. There she meets Adam. He introduced her to the monster: crank. Kristina created a new identity for herself: Bree. Bree is spontaneous and wild, the total opposite of Kristina. In the fiction novel, Bree falls into depression and becomes addicted to the crystal meth. Bree (Kristina) finds out that the wild ride soon turns into a fight for her life.
