Hey, I just finished the perfect Young Adult book, Capital Girls. I highly recommend it because it is old school YA. Meaning it deals with: gossip, friendships, boyfriends, lies, betrayals, college choices, GPA, parents, divorced parents, siblings, old crushes, new crushes, parties, and all the stuff average teens endure during their high school years. There is NO: science fiction, paranormal, abuse, rape, violence, fantasy, or anything else remotely associated with the other YA or NA books written lately. It's about 4 girls, best friends, in high school. :)
