The cover is AMAZING! If you can be the discussion leader, I am going to add it as our next monthly read.

We cannot read Beautiful Disaster in the group because of the adult content and a lot of members in the group are still pretty young :) I might consider On the Island, though. Thanks :D

message 112: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle Sounds great :)

message 113: by Carla (new)

Carla Hanna (carlajhanna) | 25 comments I haven't read Speechless or Saving June so that'd be great. I also LOVE Gayle Forman. I know you all read her in December, but how about her new one? Or do you need a breather?

message 114: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle I heard Just One Day is not that good :( but maybe we can add it in weekly read :)

BUMMER! I've been too busy to check. I just watched Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightly a week ago and absolutely LOVED it all over again so, of course, I had to re-read the book for my millionth read. PERFECT!

message 116: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle Ooh... I love that movie and the book also :D

message 117: by Maggie (new)

Gisbelle Maggie wrote: "What's the deal with " Beautiful Creatures " by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, are those books any good?"

I'm reading book 3 now. Book one is nice, but book 2 seems going nowhere. I like book 3 so far, though :)

message 125: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle Aren't these books in New Adult genre?

I am thinking of adding New Adult folder in the group. Maybe we can do one new adult book each month.

message 126: by harshini (new)

harshini (watchmeread) | 523 comments It seems like here are a lot of New Adult being read these days

message 127: by Gisbelle (new)

harshini (watchmeread) | 523 comments Yeah I know, guess I won't be much help over there

message 130: by Purvika (last edited Feb 15, 2013 11:12PM) (new)

Purvika (violetstygian) Yup ... You need more like 4 years to read new adult genre :D

message 131: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments I love the idea of a adult folder monthly book. I would definitely do that.

message 132: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle Yes, we can start next month :) I won't go to adult books, though. Let's start with New Adult. ;D

message 133: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments Yes that sounds perfect :)

I am halfway through Beautiful Creatures and thinking about seeing the movie today. Enjoying the book. Has anyone seen the movie? Should I finish the book first? I normally always finish the book first but hubby is going to be out tonight and I have the time. Thoughts?

message 138: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle Elena, I finished the series last week. I liked it, but not loved it. The final book didn't disappoint me :) I heard the movie was a disappointment.

message 139: by Elena (new)

Elena Dillon (elenadillon) | 30 comments I saw the movie the other night and it was okay. I was glad I read part of the book because I think I wouldn't have gotten as much out of the movie. A lot was different as is normally the case.

message 140: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle That sucks! I hate it when the movie is not the same as the book. :(

message 141: by Elena (new)

Elena Dillon (elenadillon) | 30 comments They combined scenes and characters which was weird. I'm pretty sure the budget wasn't huge. The acting was good though and the cast. Jeremy Irons and Emmy Rossum were really good.

message 142: by Maggie (new)

Maggie I downloaded all the books. Nook had them on sale for a couple of days. Saving them for summer reading.

message 143: by Elena (new)

Elena Dillon (elenadillon) | 30 comments Looking forward to reading the whole series. I have to take a break right now. Can't write and read at the same time. Messes me up so work first then play! I will probably have to finish this summer as well.

message 144: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle I probably wouldn't have read the Caster Chronicle if my friend hadn't lent me the audiobooks.

message 145: by harshini (new)

harshini (watchmeread) | 523 comments I haven't ever had an audiobook. But they sound interesting. I have had some devices that can read to you. But they are a bit crappy lol

message 146: by Purvika (new)

Purvika (violetstygian) Are audiobooks any good , never tried one, I like reading expressions, does the audiobooks express truly or are they just lame

message 147: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle I was hooked after listening to Harry Potter. Some audiobooks are so great since there are sound effects, like gun shots, rain... I have listened to at least 50 audiobooks already. It helps me catch up with reading since I normally work in front of computer and can't read. I like listening to thriller than romance.

message 148: by Purvika (new)

Purvika (violetstygian) Yeah ... It will be soo cheesy if you listen to the romance ... All those sound effect Lols

message 149: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle yes :P So far I have listened to only 2 romance.

message 150: by Purvika (last edited Mar 03, 2013 01:28AM) (new)

Purvika (violetstygian) Lols ... I bet you would have stopped in between to have a breathe :p ;)
