I think we might stop the polling/voting if there is a discussion leader for each monthly read :)
The Summer I Turned Pretty Oh please read that. i want people to hear about the whole series. Can you suggest the whole series? It's a book you just can't put down. There is 3 books which is so good that I'm finishing 1 book every day. My friend suggested it and I'm suggesting it everywhere and now a good amount of people i know is read the series. <3 K bye <3

Yes, if Streamline is chosen I'll be a discussion leader. I'll go back and read the book,
Streamline again; with everyone else. It's simply too good not to be read at least once.

Fantastic :) I go buy the book and we add it to next monthly read :)
I think if we have a discussion leader for each month, the discussion will go smoother :D
Thanks Mitsy

You're welcome. Make sure others want to read it, though. I'll be a discussion leader for
Streamline next month or anytime. :)
I add it for next month. Don't worry, I am sure at least some of them will read it. If not, you still have me. I don't want to have a poll or anything because even the book has been voted on, there is still not much discussion on the book.

Omg I recc. The coincidence of Callie and Kayden. This is an amazing story. I finished it in two days

How's it going? I am new to the group. I love, love, love to read. I chose this group because I want to read the " sea breeze " series and also, I have read some of the books on YACR's bookshelf. I recommend " the raven boys " by Maggie Stiefvater. Some of my favorite authors are: charlaine Harris, Nicholas sparks, p.c. Cast, Colleen Hoover, Anne Rice, June Gray, Maggie Stiefvater, Kim Harrison... These are just a few I can think of. Yes, I have an eclectic taste. I truly love a good story, no matter the story teller. I have a true passion for the written word and I hope I selected a good active book club. I am the only one of my friends who enjoys to read, this is why I had to venture out side the box to find fellow book lovers.
I read The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden in a few hours! Love, love, love it. Also, The Secret of Ella and Micha is one of my favorites! Both are great picks. Another good one is The Edge of Never.
We have added The Edge of Never in the weekly read, so we are going to read it in the group pretty soon :)We are not going to vote for the monthly reads as before, so I am going to need a discussion leader after we read Streamline (January monthly read)
is there a reason i am seeing blue boxes instead of book titles? I'm new to good reads so not sure if I'm missing something. I see some titles just not all.
Marialee wrote: "is there a reason i am seeing blue boxes instead of book titles? I'm new to good reads so not sure if I'm missing something. I see some titles just not all."So you cannot see the title? I have not idea why either.
Marialee wrote: "is there a reason i am seeing blue boxes instead of book titles? I'm new to good reads so not sure if I'm missing something. I see some titles just not all."That's an Internet problem, you have to refresh :)
Sure Gabby? What you want hun? We even allow members to be the discussion leaders for each monthly read if they want :)
We haven't read it yet in the group. But I have, a few chapters anyway. It got a bit boring and I gave up :) Have you read it yet? Or you want to start in this group?
No. I haven't read it, but if no one wants to then I'll read it in my own time :)I haven't read any of her other books, so...yeah.
if you want to read it as monthly read, we have to wait til february dear because we have january book already :)
We might need monthly book in the middle of January. Let me know what you want to read together, so I can arrange it. :)
It would be nice. Maybe we can add it to the weekly read instead of monthly read. We'll see :) Thanks Trina.
Gisbelle wrote: "We might need monthly book in the middle of January. Let me know what you want to read together, so I can arrange it. :)"Okay. But i don't want to start te discussion, i really don't know what i'm doing But i'll let you know. A weekly will be okay, though. Whenever you can fit it in. No rush.
As long as there is someone willing to be the discussion leader, we can totally read it as February monthly read :)
Marialee wrote: "I read The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden in a few hours! Love, love, love it. Also, The Secret of Ella and Micha is one of my favorites! Both are great picks. Another good one is The Edge of Never."Hey, I've gotten both The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden
and The Secret of Ella and Micha. I haven't read them, yet, so I'd like either. :)
Gisbelle wrote: "They sure look amazing! I am going to read them both next year :D"Yes, they do. Happy holidays, Gisbelle! :) Do you have a book and/or discussion leader picked for February?
Can I recommend curling up with a Hollywood hottie for February, starting with the first book of the brand new YA contemporary romance STARLET coming-of-age series?
Carla wrote: "Can I recommend curling up with a Hollywood hottie for February, starting with the first book of the brand new YA contemporary romance STARLET coming-of-age series?
"Okay. I just downloaded this book from Goodreads. Good choice.
Mitsy wrote: "Carla wrote: "Can I recommend curling up with a Hollywood hottie for February, starting with the first book of the brand new YA contemporary romance STARLET coming-of-age series? [bookcover:Starlet..."Awesome. Thanks.
Sounds good, but to be fair to other authors in the group, I don't think it is a good idea to add this book as a monthly read. But I will try and see if we can add it in our weekly read.
I can't believe it's already 1/2 through Jan! Are we making suggestions for Feb yet? If so, I'd love to suggest BLAZE or Love in the Time of Supervillains.Blaze The cover is amazing!
