Definitely. I was really shocked or more surprised that Judy Bloome wrote the book but I still liked the book.

absolutely. it surprised me a bit that Judy Blume wrote this book with such vulgar details...but then again, she is an author, and a good author has to explore different styles of writing.

Judy Blume wrote a wide variety of books - she also had some adult books like Summer Sisters - but there was nothing 'disgusting' about this book - it was a quintessential coming of age story
