Rachel Overplayed.

I will say though I did give the books a chance. I read them actually a few times to see if I missed anything. I feel that maybe PEOPLE also played the role in making it overplayed and maybe if it wasn't made into a movie people wouldn't have so much disgust towards the series. I have read The Host too and now that the movie has came out on it it also will become over.played. Simple as that.The series itself though was just okay, not great or a MUST READ. Just okay.

There is not a point in the book, where I believed any lead character to be in danger. That sets the mood for the books.
