If you cannot see it you are clearly mistaken. Maybe you are used to men that would rather play video games then talk about literature and classical music.
The writing may not be the best but the love is real. You cannot deny that. You may find it creepy and you are entitled to that. But don't pretend for one second that you do not crave it.

I do not crave it. I only read it to see what all the fuss was about, and I disliked every aspect of it.

Lots of people think my favorite book is crap, I don't mind.
This isn't a Twilove sight; the creator of this discussion asked to describe Twilight in one word, which people are doing. Different people have different opinions and this discussion is asking for people's opinions, therefore not everyone is going to post positive comments.

Disappointing.
The potential was wasted! Stephanie had something going with the different species of vampires and werewolves/shapeshifters she created but the tragic romance got the most attention. She focused on the wrong thing and the series at the end became a mockery. What a let down it all was. :/
