Please help! My friend gave me these book clues and its going to bug me all day! At first I thought it was Percy Jackson but there are five books in that series! What book is this?!?
CLUES:
1. It was the author's FIRST book written.
2. The book is less than 10 yrs old.
3. It was originally a trilogy but the author decided to make a fourth book.
4. Of the 4 books in this series, only the first one had a movie made of it.

Umm....the Mortal Instruments series? The first book is the City of Bones.
It was supposed to be a trilogy but there is now recently a fifth book...so idk.
It's the Inheritance Cycle. The first one is Eragon. They are by Christopher Paolini.
For a second I thought it was the Hunger Games but, silly me, they added a fourth book to the original trilogy! How silly of me!

Yup, it's the Inheritance Cycle (awesome books, by the way) and like PJO, the movie was totally epic... at failing!
