What Time Is It and What Are You Doing?

And now I need to figure out what I am going to fix for supper.

Aw, cheer up, please. Listen to the muse, you can't ever go wrong.

You learn something new every day, right?:)
You're most welcome, Holly.

I continue to plod through my homework (but not this late at night), and for my next pleasure reading, I will probably finish

It seems to be snowing in all kinds of weird places. It's not snowing here in Oregon, thank heaven, but it can get fairly cold still, especially at night.
Hope you are all doing well. I have been extremely busy with the play, the homework, writing projects...so busy I haven't had time to edit the chapter my customer sent me a long time ago. I had to write him an apology with an explanation the other day.
I hope to type up a blog entry I wrote in longhand one of these days--more about the play writing. In my last post, I talked about the organization that facilitates the writing workshops and plays. In my next post, I'll talk about how some of the writing has been therapeutic to me. The show opens this Friday night and will show four times over two weekends. I expect to be busy until then, and then hope things slow down a bit. Loves and hugs to ya!

Awesome Dustin! :-D
6:15 p.m. I would really like to get some writing done. Will probably end up just studying. Haven't gotten much reading done either.

Yes, I am so relieved, too, because I really wanted to finish and post my review!
I still haven't done any reading done, but I plan on doing so over the weekend.:)

Me too. The Brothers Karamazov is great so far, I've just been doing other things. I really hope to get further into it.

Has it been so long you've forgotten me, Christine? All my fault, I'm sure! Nice to re-meet you!

I notice I promised another blog entry that I haven't delivered. But I don't think anybody reads those things, anyway, so does it matter? Maybe my cousin would read it; who knows? But do I really want to write at this hour? No...
I used to always read before bed, until I noticed that my interest in the book kept me awake and stimulated my thoughts, making it hard to get to sleep even after I put the book down (if I DID put it down!) So I switched to crossword puzzles, which work well because when they are done they are done; they don't make my mind go on and on. I can do one or at the most two of them until I must put it down and drop off.
But then Internet crept up on me. That is my addiction, along with food. I keep clinging to the illusion that it's the best way for me to get ready to sleep. God knows I need a little playtime; you know that old adage about Jack doing all work. But I know that the light of the monitor is said to keep a person awake. So I stay up late most nights doing things I don't have to do, with the excuse that it's past 10:30, my free time. I'm usually up until about 1 a.m. Sometimes I get into important and helpful conversations with friends. There is no telling what the Internet may have for me on a given night.
Read a book, Robin, a voice says to me... Do a crossword, says another. You are getting sleepy, says a third. Six more minutes and I'm due to take my antibiotic for my swollen hand. Second time I've had a bug bite get infected; the last time was last month.
Alondra: Not sure what is "not the same" about your usual cream at the cream from work. Did you perhaps mean creamer from work? If so, I heartily agree it's not the same! Real cream is--well, cream!
