Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments It wasn't easy being a vegetarian in Austin, let me tell you...

message 55: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Yeah I remember now the place on Congress wasn't that good. Threadgill's is the best. Also on North Lamar. Don't worry. Sally won't bite.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I really loved Fonda San Miguel, and Ninfa's, oh man!

I weighed more when I lived in Austin, by the way...

message 57: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I'm boycotting Applebee's. They always pester you about saving room for desert. I hate that. Anywhere they do that, I automatically say no. Let me eat my dinner first!!!

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I don't eat mammals, but I do eat chicken and fish, so I ate a lot of chicken enchiladas and guacamole. And cheese. Lots of cheese.

Cosmic Sher (sherart) | 2234 comments Chicken & fish aren't very cute, so they don't count. ;D

That's one reason I'm going to move back to TX. Chastain's has the best CFS in Fort Worth, if you're anywhere nearby.

Cosmic Sher (sherart) | 2234 comments Has anyone else noticed that the ranch dressing in the bottles at the grocery just don't taste the same anymore? The only place I can find good ol' buttermilk ranch is at Red Robin, with their big steak cut fries (bottomless!).

It's true, the sign only says "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service." It doesn't say ANYTHING about pants.

:::Nods thoughtfully:::
