Did Four and Beatrice did it already?

I know right!

i disagree. who cares if they are teenagers? so what? it's a future society and theres not that much religion involved. so i don't see the problem with it.

Many people have yet to go through puberty at the age of 13 or before. Also, most parents are still protective of their children before the age of 13, and they would most likely not go many places without their parents' knowledge, considering they cannot drive and are still considered young children. Tris is 16, and Four is 18. That is very different from pre-pubic children.

:) <3

I hope they don't, there's way too much going on for them to be focused on that aspect. Should they have romantic scenes? Hell yeah! Do we need to see them have sex? No.

I'm not saying whether or not I think Tris and Four should have sex, but either way I wouldn't be disappointed.
I think that they could end up doing it in the next book, but Veronica Roth probably wouldn't go into as much detail as other authors might do. I think she's evolved Tris and Tobias's relationships too much already, and the only things left to do with them is to either make them have sex, or to create some sort of love triangle.

Agreed
Agreed

Since the media has such a huge affect on teens, authors should be more careful about what they write in their books. Then their audience might view having sex as having fun and do it while being oblivious to STDS and pregnancy.
Veronica Roth has always been a good author for me to recommend to parents of teens. I hope she doesn't ruin it.

I don't think it's right, to claim that book sex leads to STDs or teenpregnancy...
Not using condoms leads to STDs, and not using any form for birthcontrol leads to teenagepregnancy, and pregnancy in alle other ages...
I had teenage sex, and I have NEVER had an STD or been romotely pregnant -> I use and have ALWAYS used protection...

85% of teenagers that have sex between the ages of 15-23 have an STD and they never find out.
I'm sorry, but I think anyone who thinks teenage sex is okay is an idiot.
Millions of teens each year die from STDS. Just because you didn't get one does not mean others will be so lucky.

I'm one. I waited until I got married at 28. So did my husband. We wanted to wait for the person we knew we'd be committed to in marriage. It's actually a Biblical (not just Christian) principle.

Agreed.
Agreed.

I agree completely. They are going through tons of tough situations and they need to feel like there is always going to be someone there for them. Although I dont think it needs to end up with the "doing it".

Actually the question is: Have they done it yet?
We know the answer.
Bad English is the global language.

Which I'm glad about. I like the rapport they share as it is, I'm on the second book and I feel right now isn't the time. I think, in a way, it is much more adult of them to wait rather than rush into anything like that, and it would spoil it. The book doesn't revolve around (mainly) their relationship in physical terms, I'd say it was more mental, like trusting one another and learning about the others' strengths and weaknesses. Also the books aren't just about two teenagers hooking up, hellooo there's kind of a lot of other stuff going down ahaha
Just my opinion (:
