Either of those three books is fine for a buddy read towards the end of August. Did you a specific of those three in mind for a buddy read ?

That works for me, because I would have to read it at the end of the month anyway. So 8/18 definitely works.

Buddy reads are simple. You guys choose a date that works, and usually you would come back every five chapters. It doesn't have to be five, most of us do that though. And you just discuss. (:
