Oh my gosh, that is a lot to have to read first! LOL I'll go through them either tomorrow or the next day (tomorrow is hubby's birthday) and let you know the ones I most want to read and the ones I already have and we can go from there. Meantime, if someone else wants to schedule something with you feel free!

Thanks!

Trisha | 30284 comments OOOH I completely missed your top couple of books - do you want to plan these??

Descent (Kissed by Death, #3) by Tara A. Fuller Arizona (Beautiful Dead, #2) by Eden Maguire Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead

message 14756: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments I definitely want to plan Last Sacrifice since I read the previous five books. I could also read Descent but I have only read book one so need to read two unless they don't have to go in order. Do you know?

The Arizona one I don't have the book and Amazon said it's only available through 3rd party and I haven't read book one.

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments How about the Nov. 22, 24 or Dec. 2 or 3?

Also, I have the following books at my home already, so I can start with these to prepare to buddy read with you. If you have any preferences as to which to do first, I'm good with anything.

The Impostor Queen (The Impostor Queen, #1) by Sarah Fine to read The Cursed Queen (The Impostor Queen, #2) by Sarah Fine
Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1) by Leigh Bardugo then read Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows, #2) by Leigh Bardugo
The Winner's Curse (The Winner's Trilogy, #1) by Marie Rutkoski (I have the whole trilogy)
The Heart of Betrayal (The Remnant Chronicles, #2) by Mary E. Pearson then we can read The Beauty of Darkness (The Remnant Chronicles, #3) by Mary E. Pearson

I would also like to add UnBound by Neal Shusterman

Give me the order you prefer and I'll start on these books right away.

Would December 22 work better for you? I understand how much time exams take, and I don't want you to get behind because you are trying to read a book.

Hmmm...I probably won't be able to read the first book before December so it's hard to say when I could read the rest of the books. Probably closer to the end of December or in January.

but how do you feel about waiting to start until January??

I don't think I'd have the time to finish it in such a crazy month as December..

The problem I had with this book when I tried reading it is that the print is SO small in the book I have, but I'd like to read it with you and Matty. Maybe I can get a copy with larger print.

message 14789: by Matty (new)

Matty | 469 comments @Vicki yeah the print is really small, & the book is so long, I just stopped reading it even though I was around 500 pages in. I think we should set up a reading schedule for this one. I feel like if we don’t, it’ll end up back on our to be read pile Dx

message 14790: by Vicki (new)

I bought one that has larger text (not an LP version really.....but one that is NOT a small book)

I'm open! Do you guys want to try starting 1/1??
I can do a reading plan once we pick a start date!

message 14793: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments January 1 is good for me. I would like a good reading schedule to go by too. I'm going to look for larger print because that's why I couldn't/didn't continue reading it before. These eyes of mine serve me well, except with such tiny print. LOL
