Renea I think Tom Welling fits. He is certainly age appropriate. And he is gorgeous.

Lynn Jonathan rhys meyers was who i pictured all thru the books...lol... he has this angsty hotness that just made me think of him.

Roseanne Oooh good one Lynn! He has so much angst going on off screen also.. I just can't picture him as anyone other than Henry VIII anymore unfortunately!! I'm ok with Henry Cavill taking the reins however;))

I know when the background of the Professer was coming out and i had just discovered the Tudors so I started watching the dvds and following Jonathans angsty real life and he was just in mind Gabriel...lol. Henry Cavill i cast in my head as Gideon Cross...lol... but i love them both (characters and actors ) so there is no losers there...lol

I'm with you Roseanne....Jonathan will always remind me of his portrayal of Henry VIII! And as a result...too mean and angry...not tortured like our dear professor needs to be in my mind.

Roseanne Yes! That's exactly it Anne! Henry became so cold hearted & selfish and there was no real redeeming characteristic for him towards the end, except with his reconciliation with Princess Mary.. Unlike Gabriel:))

I have to admit tho I cried like a baby when Brandon died & was in bits when the credits rolled on the final episode, Henry gazing at his masterpiece! At least the Professor won't be extinguished- at least I hope so!!

Roseanne Sorry Pat.. I've Anne on the brain thinking of poor Boleyn!

Same here, I also don't see David Gandy but you may want to look at the pics who I see when I read the book :). They are models

Gabriel Emerson: Tobias Cameroon

Julianne Mitchell: Whitney Danielle

Colleen I'm with Brandy, Gandy all the way and let's be honest it might not be said but he's inspired more then just Raine Miller. I've seen that folks think Sylvia Day used him as Gideon Cross.

Not an Older guy-PLEASE. That would suck.

Carole Julie wrote: "How old is that guy? 50? He's WAY TOO OLD! Gabriel is only in his 30's."

Gabriel bryne is actually 63

I agree with Laura, no movie. Leave these books to the imagination of the readers.

He'd be great

message 114: by Brenda (new) - rated it 5 stars

Brenda Gemma wrote: "Ain't he too old for the role? Gabriel is just 33. As for me my top pic would be David Gandy he's no actor but by the looks of him he suits (physically) the role of Gabriel."

Gabriel is supposed to be in his late twenties. How in the world do you cast a fifty something actor?

message 115: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth Brenda your right david gandy is a great pick his style and looks fits the role of proffesor ememerson hes HOTT

Tabitha Gemma wrote: "Ain't he too old for the role? Gabriel is just 33. As for me my top pic would be David Gandy he's no actor but by the looks of him he suits (physically) the role of Gabriel."

David Gandy for sure. Hes the right age, and hotter than hell!

Colleen David is 33 so I'm with Tabitha, he is the BEST option.

Kitty Berry Check out Peter Facinelli

message 119: by Sharon (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sharon Guilio Berruti. He's hot, he's Italian, he's got blue eyes, he's young, and he's sexy. He'd be perfect

Sharon I agree

message 126: by Saleen (new) - rated it 5 stars

Saleen Jonathan Rhys Meyers

message 128: by Mj (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mj Tumabiene David Gandy! He's not an actor but after reading the trilogy made me wanna think of him, the only man that I can picture out to play the enigmatic Professor. Henry Cavill can play Prof. Gab too but I think it would be better for him to be Gideon Cross of Sylvia Day's Bared To You? ;)

I think so too! :)

message 130: by D.A. (new) - rated it 5 stars

D.A. Latham The two choices for me would be David Gandy or Henry Cavill. Actually, scrub that, and just make it David Gandy. Henry was my muse for Ivan in the Corporate Affair series. He can't be in everything.
Paul Walker is my current muse for the novel I'm writing at the moment. Such a beautiful, tactile, gorgeous man. Such a shame he was taken so young.

Terri (N.J.) D.A. wrote: "The two choices for me would be David Gandy or Henry Cavill. Actually, scrub that, and just make it David Gandy. Henry was my muse for Ivan in the Corporate Affair series. He can't be in everything..."

Yes David and Henry definitely got my vote. And I agree, what a shame about Paul. He seemed to have a beautiful soul as well as a pleasure to look at. Good Luck with your novel.

message 132: by D.A. (new) - rated it 5 stars

D.A. Latham Seeing that pic of Tobias Cameroon (woof) above, I've changed my mind again. His hair is gorgeous.

Jessica Gemma wrote: "Ain't he too old for the role? Gabriel is just 33. As for me my top pic would be David Gandy he's no actor but by the looks of him he suits (physically) the role of Gabriel."
So true. I wouldn't pick him either.

LOL. certainly, He's in my top five favorite men. The position suits him. ;)

Sönïa Dhillion David Gandy is perfecto for this role

Joanna Henry Cavill <3

message 139: by Nic (new) - rated it 5 stars

Nic West Henry Cavill that's it. I hope if this is made into a movie they don't terrible cast it like FSOG. dear Lord what were they thinking? srsly? Rita Ora? really ?

message 140: by Joanna (new) - rated it 5 stars

Joanna I know! when I saw Rita Ora was part of the cast I knew this is going to be a disaster -.-... they´re ruining the FSoG.
But I really hope they cast Henry Cavill for Gabe *-*

message 141: by Nic (new) - rated it 5 stars

Nic West ugh ok is there one of these threads for Julia?

message 142: by Sharon (last edited Aug 22, 2014 07:12AM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sharon I think jonathan rhys meyers fits better as Gabriel. the movie "From Paris With Love" made me think about Gabriel a little. He can portray that formal yet passionate air Gabriel has very well.

message 143: by Tammy (new) - rated it 5 stars

Tammy Are they really going to make a movie of the book? I sure hope so!

Catherine_b Tom Ellis for me

message 146: by Saleen (new) - rated it 5 stars

Saleen Either Jonathan Rhys Meyers or Luke Evans

message 147: by Erin (new) - rated it 1 star

Erin Not sure, but please not Gandy. I feel everyone wants him for everything, like Blackstone and Crossfire. I am NOT a lesbian by far, but I honestly do not get the Gandy attraction. His body is hot, but I am not feeling the face. Am I alone? I like Bradley. And he is a born, bred Philly guy. Gotta love him. Silver Linings Playbook is my fave.

Yep, Armie was my Christian, but I have to say; I like the guy they did pick to play him.

Sönïa Dhillion I agree with Erin David gandy is hot and he has a intimidating look but I mean when I read a book I use to automatically go yes I can imagine David here. But now I stop myself it's like watching TV you would not want Ian somerhalder on every show on the channel 24/7 . No matter how big a fan you are you would change the channel that's what I felt with Mr gandy . I sometimes think he would laugh himself if he seen book reviews using his image.

message 150: by Erin (new) - rated it 1 star

Erin I know Sonia....I am a huge Joseph Gordon Levitt fan and it got to the point where I imagined him in like every male part in every novel! It got boring!
