It's pathetic that Sen. Durgan fell for the GOP smokescreen - that this bailout is full of pork spending. The GOP wants more tax cuts, which sure as shit isn't going to boost the economy; it's just pandering to their core values, which aren't that important right now.
I think everyone agrees the bailout package isn't perfect, but as long as the Senate keeps bitching about the size of the package and not focusing on its' intended benefits, the American public is going to get madder than hell about all this.
