Synopsis -

After searching all over the world for someone as unique as she is, Racquel finds herself back in her home town where she’s treated like a monster ready to kill. Racquel is one of the most unique beings ever created. Four of the most powerful beings in the Shadow World are intertwined within her, making up her unique DNA. But no matter how unique her bloodline is, she’s considered an outcast by the entire Shadow World.

Once arriving home, Racquel finds that greater evils exist and that the person she cares for most in this world, her half-sister Addie, has been kidnapped along with other Shadow World beings. Racquel finds herself facing horrible odds with those who would rather see her dead than alive.

As her journey continues, Racquel learns more about herself, what she is capable of, and that not every being looks at her as an abomination. Coy, a human captive that Racquel saved from the vampires, starts showing kindness toward her. Racquel tries putting distance between her and the human boy but as they spend more time together it becomes harder and harder for Racquel to fight the affection she wants and needs.

Will Racquel finally break down those walls she’s kept in place for so long? Or will she keep everyone out and continue to keep herself closed off from the world? Thanks Rhomy and Charli for your reviews. Your honesty was greatly appreciated and I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Rhomy I noticed you mentioned something about the cover and my fear of the cover was confirmed with your review (along with some private messages I have received). It was a gamble that I tried, kind of a dream I had for my first book but was going to go with a more stunning cover for the rest of the series but I am probably going to change the cover after many suggestions. I did finish book 2 today, Blood Bound, which I'm hoping to have published soon. Thanks again for reading and reviewing the newer version!

Hey Michele,
There are still a few grammar errors in the new edition :( BUT it is GREATLY improved from its orignial state and if you would have seen the red slashes (looked like death on paper) in the draft that Cameron went over, you would understand why some grammar problems still remain. Cameron truly is a great Editor and he's going through Uniquely Unwelcome again to fix those few spelling problems. After we fix those problems, I will be updating. I still have great faith in Cameron and would recommend him as an Editor to anyone. He has truly taught me a lot which has improved my writing and had his work cut out for him in editing my first book. He's currently working on Book 2 of the series!
