This month we're diving into the first book in Rachel Vincent's Shifters series, Stray.

While you may already be hooked on the emotional rollercoasters of her later series (Unbound and Soul Screamers), the opener from her first series is sure to pack a punch.

Are you in?

Kat (sassycatsbooksreview) There's also her amazing YA series Soul Screamers, there's one more Unbound book titled "Oath Bound" and One final Soul Screamer "With All My Soul" Both coming out next year. :)

Amy A | 27 comments I read this series about a year ago, I'm ready for the discussion to begin. I'm interested to hear what people think about the book.

Rachel (librocub5) I'm in! I've been wanting to start this series (along with a million others) for awhile now. Of course, I've got to finish the Psy/Changeling series after having read Slave to Sensation too!

I adore this series! I was one of the first UF series I ever read and remains a firm favourite. Can't wait for the discussions to begin! :)

Mindy (mindylee88) I have this series in my TBR list forever, count me in! :)

Karen Wapinski | 39 comments I love this series! The final book Alpha was one of the most gripping UFs I've ever read ^_^

Brianna | 13 comments I've been planning to read this series, but I keep hearing offputting things about the heroine. Maybe it's a case like Mac in the Fever series where she starts as one type of person, and grows into another. I don't know. I'll have to give this book a try sometime, though

IVe read this series twice with a very good memory of the book, Faythe grows into her role which you'll learn as you read the book series and also she face great challenge which give her the push and pull of her role as a female tabby

Karen Wapinski | 39 comments Completely; I liked Faythe from the beginning but I did want to bit** slap her some of the time; but she really does mature throughout the books

Tammy Godfrey | 2 comments I like faythe but she bugs me. What does she really want?

Brianna | 13 comments Well, sounds like I need to read this then. :). I can do immature characters if they get better

Shannon (skessler) | 9 comments This is the first that I have seen this series, I am excited to start to read the book.

Brianna | 13 comments I started this book last night, and made it to chapter nine. I'm not blown away yet, and sometimes I think that the heroine makes poor decisions. However, I like her overall. Hopefully I like it more by the end

Sandi (grannie_4_7) | 2 comments YES! I'd love to join in. Will get the book today and get started tonight. :D

Brianna | 13 comments Finished this book late last night. It was a 3 star read for me.

Veronica (readingonthefly) Just started today. I'm only a few chapters in but so far, so good!

Sandi (grannie_4_7) | 2 comments Well, it's not a book I stayed awake to read. Got as far as the beginning of chapter 9 last night. At this point the main character has behaved with almost complete selfishness and distain for others.

I do find the premise of werecats interesting and this is my first - but will not be the last - foray into their world.

Laura | 3 comments I just started this book the other night and I am just at the part where she changes for the first time. I liked the description of the change, that was pretty cool. I have glimpsed a lot of people saying they character was very selfish. I'm not to that point yet. I don't have enough info I'm sure. But, I think at her age I would have been pretty pissed to be dragged home when I was just fine! LOL

Rachel (librocub5) I'm about halfway through and so far its a three star for me. I'll have to wait and see if it picks up for me though I've heard enough good things about this series to keep going!

Jay (jay6) | 2 comments I've read the series already and will reread I just saw this post so I'll start right away. I enjoyed the series but did get frustrated with the leading lady more often then not.

Laura | 3 comments I'm on Chapter 22 now. I have to say this book makes my pretty angry. I hope it gets better. Sigh.

Shannon (skessler) | 9 comments I have read the first book a last week. I am now on book 5, I am enjoying the series but have gotten frustrated with some of the events that have taken place. I am having a hard time putting the books down.
