Two duplicate editions, one with a wrong ISBN

I came across this issue and decided to ask for advice. I noticed there are two duplicates of the same edition of Franny and Zooey. I would usually merge them, but this time every edition has an ISBN: one that is correct (as appears on the publisher's page and on Google search)

and the other one with only one digit changed - 9789724620302(which, upon searching, has only two results, both on Goodreads).

I know that we should not delete books that have ISBN, but this doesn't seem to be a valid one. Is it ok to merge that edition to the one with a correct ISBN?

I just ran 9789724620302 through the ISBN checker and it came back with an incorrect check digit. So it seems it's not a valid ISBN. Merging is probably the way to go, but I'd recommend waiting for a second opinion. :)

I would merge them. The one with a bad check digit has a higher quality image, so I would copy it to the edition you want to keep.

Yeah, the check digit for that ISBN should be 5, which then belongs to a different book. I'll merge it now.

Thank you! I wanted to do it, though ;) I had all the info at hand and was prepared just to merge them. The edition also has to be combined.
