Sounds like a plan! We'll see if this free ebook entices me to track down the rest of the series...

Re 102, Alison:How about Unsinkable Vampire: A Begotten Bloods Novella? Vampires sound Halloweenish enough, yeah? ;)
I guess Unsinkable Vampire: A Begotten Bloods Novella isnt on my Nook, so i will start The War of the Worlds.
Finished The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie gave it 5 stars. Ready for another. Please select from my tbr-owned-top 40 shelf http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...

I'd like it if someone could pick a book for me from my read and review shelf or my owned to read shelf! Thanks!

Eruwenn wrote: "Another selection from my to-read list, please!"Has anyone picked a book for you? If they haven't I think you could read Problems with a girl & a unicorn.
Pick a Book for me!I made a small shelf of books I've started or read, please pick one and explain why I should read it now

Re 119, Lamilla:I've added your name to the "People Waiting to Be Partnered" list in the first post of the thread. If anyone else is interested in the idea of partnering, post here!
As soon as there's a potential partner, I'll let you know. :)
One book and one short story later, I'm back to my usual state. My to-read list is still full of random things; pick one for me for any reason at all!

Eruwenn wrote: "Aaaand that was totally not worth the wait. Next book, please?"You finished a 400 page book in 2 hours? Color me impressed!

How about Pobby & Dingan? Just because I like the title?
Can someone suggest me a book that deals in some way with rainforests? Fiction or nonfiction's good, and it doesn't have to be on my to-read list. :)
RE: Amara... i looked at your list for a while and just a suggestion, what about Honey I Shrunk the Kids. the grass is like a jungle to them. :) Or another one that i thought of that takes place in a jungle is Jurassic Park or the Lost World.
Pick it for me!Anyone who pops in to this, if you'd be willing to choose from my "tbr-books-I-own" list =) Thank you!

How about Fahrenheit 451? I think that's a great classic.
Linda C wrote: "How about Fahrenheit 451? I think that's a great classic."Thank you for the suggestion but that book isn't on the shelf! If I owned it, I would read it. Thank you again though!
Another pick, Linda? Or anyone? From shelf: "tbr-books-i-own" :)

looks interesting! Would you like to read it?
Melissa wrote: "How about Pobby & Dingan? Just because I like the title? "I like the blurb, so I'd give it a try. Thanks for the pick!
Melissa wrote: "How about Pobby & Dingan? Just because I like the title? "I've finished it. It's a decent little story, I rated it 5 stars. It was nice to have a glimpse of miners life, the main characters are as real as the next person and I loved how it turned out in the end. My favourite chapter is 15th, I think it might be the reason the book was written at all.
Pick a Book for me!
Please pick another book from my pick-it-up shelf http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/... and explain why I should read it now
I, too, could use another suggestion. Pick a book for me from my to-read pile, and I shall get right to reading it! :)
Sure! In return, I'll suggest for you Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders. Why? Because I know nothing from your list that you haven't read yet, but at least that's a familiar author.
Melissa & Lamilla, thank you! I will read both Catch Me If You Can and She's Not There: A Life in Two Genders , excellent choices! :D
Lamilla- if you dont have a book to read yet, i have heard good things about We Need to Talk About Kevin. Give that a try!
Im gonna need a new book later today. I would like to read either Dracula or Frankenstein. I cant decide and need someone to decide for me.
