Pick It For Me!
Lamilla wrote: "RE: #44Nine Princes in Amber are pretty good if you count all books. Would you like to read it, Jenny?"
I would! Thank you, I had completely forgotten about it. The only problem is that I have to find it in the librarywhich could prove to be tricky.
P.s. I just wanted to say I love this. It's really fun and exciting!D.s
Jenny wrote: "So, I looked through your list and found Eat, Pray, Love which I thought was a good book. Otherwise you could read Around the World in Eighty Days."Thanks Jenny, I'll probably read them both! =)

I just read To Kill a Mockingbird for the first time ever this year. I enjoyed it, hopefully you do too!
Tiffany- I know how fast you read, so how about "The Dirty Parts of the Bible" and then tell me how it is because I want to read it!
Im reading Bel Canto right now for another group, but please pick a book for me after Im done reading that. I would like the book to be from by Nook folder.

I just read the Mysterious Affair at Styles which was the first Poirot, so it was on my mind when I looked at your Nook list.
Looks like I'm in the market for another picked-for-me book! A Brief History of the Haggis certainly wasn't kidding when it claimed to be a short story!Again, anything on my to-read list is game!

How about The Ups and Downs of Being Dead? :D
Alison wrote: "Tiffany- I know how fast you read, so how about "The Dirty Parts of the Bible" and then tell me how it is because I want to read it!"Haha! Someone is borrowing that (clearly I need to go adjust my shelf!) but I definitely want to dig into that one and see if it's any good. I got it for free on Kindle, so if it sucks I won't be out anything!
The Ups and Downs of being Dead it is! (And hurray, it's a longer book!)Thanks for the selection, Tiffani!
I"d love somebody to go to my Paint Me Red Challenge shelf and choose a book for me to read. I am already reading Anomaly, so not that one. I'll finish that one tomorrow. Thanks.

Pick a Book for Me!I'd like to try something new this time, by the author not found on any of my shelves. Contemporary will be great, or you can choose from one of my favourite genres.
Thanks!
Eruwenn wrote: "So much for that book being longer... um...Another pick for me, please?"
How about The Flu, since the season is beginning.

Lamilla,
Two books that I've read recently and enjoyed are What Happened to Sophie Wilder and The Secret Life of Bees. Would either of those suit you?

The Flu it shall be! (I hadn't realized that it was that time of year again, and yes, it seems like an oddly appropriate choice.)

Okay, I bought it and have it. Thanks.
Great choice, Candace! I've added The Secret Life of Bees to my to-read list and will look up the other one after that
Now that I've read The Flu, I'll be paranoid about every sniffle I get for the next little while. In the meantime, select for me another book from my to-read list?

Admiral Who? because of the author... Luke Sky Wachter
It's as good a reason as any, and I didn't even see the name of the author when I got the book... Thanks for the suggestion!
Eruwenn wrote: "Aaand it's that time again! Another random selection from my to-read list, if you please?"Eruwenn, you read so fast!
How about Lies of the Prophet?
I can't help it; I tell myself I'll only read a chapter or two, and the next thing I know it's an hour or two later and I'm done the book already!Lies of the Prophet it is!
Well, the dragons were untraditional ones, but still an interesting sort of read.Next? Again? (Should I be worried about posting in this thread so much?)
Eruwenn you seem to get a hold of your next reads straight away, do you have them in print or do you download a copy? Just curious :)By the way I think it's good that you're posting because it keeps the topic active and it gives people the chance to pick a book for somebody! :)
I have read all the physical books in my apartment (aside from one, but that's second in a series and I'm still tracking down the first...) All the things on my to-read list at the moment are free books I've snagged for my Kindle. I finally let the poor device download them all after a few months, and was surprised to see how many I'd picked up. (Ok, the German ones have been lurking around for a few months longer than the rest, but I need to get around to those eventually, so having them staring me in the face is a good reminder.)Still waiting on you lovely people to choose a book. Anything from my to-read list, for any reason at all! :)
Eruwenn wrote: "Still waiting on you lovely people to choose a book. Anything from my to-read list, for any reason at all!"Eruwenn, I choose A Clockwork Fairytale for you.
Amanda wrote: "Pick it for me! Please use the compare feature."How about Small Gods? I love all things Pratchett, so am always happy to recommend him to others.
By the way, I love your profile picture, what a beautiful cat!
Another day, another book completed... I'm sure you have the routine by now: pick it for me, from my to-read list, for any reason whatsoever!

Thank you! I always appreciate another cat lover :-) I'll get to reading Small Gods.
I know I'm going to finish this book-that-doesn't-have-nearly-enough-pirate-tales-in-it while I'm out and about today, so...Next selection, if you please?

I was actually going to read To Kill a Mockingbird anyways so now I just have an excuse for reading it now!I haven't really gotten to it.
So, I looked through your list and found Eat, Pray, Love which I thought was a good book. Otherwise you could read Around the World in Eighty Days.
