Congratulation Carlos! Hope you enjoy the book and we look forward to your review when you've read it.

I am currently 77% through it and very enjoyable thus far.

Lance Greenfield (lancegreenfieldmitchell) | 156 comments Congratulations Carlos!

I thought that the question this month was most inspiring, and it has prompted me to start a new thread to continue the discussion. Look our for that, and post your thoughts.

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Tej, I'm trying to compute 77%.

What chapter?

I'm mixing the 7th one now, by the by, for the audiobook, that is.

And I'm still telling people my butler's reading it for me, which is an inside joke as I sent him back in Time long ago.

As I recall, da Vinci was equally good with BOTH hands...even writing as if using a mirror.

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Yes David, it's true, but he used his left most often.

It's estimated that most of his notebooks have been lost & the ones we have (written backwards) were just a drop in the bucket.

There's something I like to find in Grannie's attic.

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Time Travel Group members, 'Piercing the Elastic Limit' has received it's first review & from one of the moderators of the group.

Tej rated it 4 stars.

He didn't like the ending, thinking it too abrupt, but that's fine & how Time Travel works; now you're here, now you're gone.

As usual, Tej deconstructed the book well & his insights are always penetrating & spot on.

An honest review, just what I wanted.

Thanks Tej.

Who knows what the Future may hold?

Then you think, when the heck am I now?!"

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Yes Lance, you understand.

Been there, done that.

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Time Travel group members, the Introduction I posted on Youtube has broken 200 views.

Not much perhaps in the bigger scheme of things, but it had only a few hits before the contest, so thanks.

The recording of the whole book is going well, by the way.

Its great to know that these prize-giveaway contests helps bring awareness for our group member authors books...but I did not know of your youtube intro, so that view count wont include me. Where and when did you give a link to this?

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Tej, I posted on several threads, 'New stuff by Members', etc. & thought I did so here too, maybe not.

Here it is:

And thanks again for the review, my first for this new Epic Fable

Heather(Gibby) (heather-gibby) | 469 comments You have a great reading voice Howard-now when I read the book- I will have your voice in my head!

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Many thanks Heather, but yes, until the audiotracks are finished the book is the only way to find out what's up with that bumblebbee boy.

Oh that intro, yes i did listen to that, I forgot, i even gave you feedback on it.

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Tej, yes, your comments then, as now and in the future, are always welcomed & taken to heart.

In fact, all moderators in this group are superb & it's easy to see they're (as you are) well steeped in the genre.

To an artist in this style, the forum itself & all members therin are a wonderful thing & I appreciate them & you.

In my other groups, Time Travel sometimes comes up & I always invite them to join, or at least check us out.

Who wouldn't want to be a member?

Keith McArdle (varangian) | 18 comments Damn, missed out! Oh well :)

Congrats Carlos!

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Sorry Keith, but I'd still like to know who you would want to meet & why.

Indulge us.

Lance Greenfield (lancegreenfieldmitchell) | 156 comments Keith - there is now a thread dedicated to this topic.

Who would you time travel to meet?

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Sorry Keith, I thought you meant that you were too late for the book giveaway, not too late for giving us your choice.

Be sure to read the posts from the beginning of the new thread, as they're all very good, especially the reasons given.

See you there.

Carlos (darkfall01) I've been traveling non-stop (unfortunately not through time) and haven't logged into this site. I wanted to thank John and Howard for the giveaway and for giving everyone the chance to win. I'm looking forward in starting to read Howard's book! I will make sure I post a review once I've finished it. Thank!

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments No problem & look forward to it.
