I'll be reading Monsters of Men, Article 5, and starting Storm of Swords. Might also begin Love Rock Revolution.

I'm reading a bunch of unappealing grad school textbooks, but I am re-listening to Winter's Heart (WOT #9) by Robert Jordan.
I can't put my Batman graphic novels away...
I'm reading Batman: Year One by the legendary Frank Miller... talk about a classic!
With the new Dark Knight Rises movie, I'm hooked on Batman.

Yah...it is the one with the guy narrator. I don't know if I can finish it. I just don't think I like the story, which is really disappointing. Is the narrator the voice of Winnie the Pooh?? I swear he sounds just like him. :)Jeane wrote: "Angie wrote: "Oh, and I just started the audio version of Wicked."

It's a pity because I did like the book by the same author that had to do with the stepsisters (forgive me, I can't remember the title off the top of my head)
At the moment, I have a few books that I am reading but the one I am trying to get read first is by JD Robb, NY to Dallas. Love her series and now she has 2 more out that I need to get and start reading.I am also reading when I am home Jenny Lawson "Let's pretend this never happened" Love the Bloggess but note to everyone, not a book you read in a public place like a doctor's office because you start laughing so hard that the other patients start looking at you like you are a nut case!

Is the narrator the voice of Winnie the..."Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister - I will have to try that one next. I will probably still trudge through Wicked, since I'm commuting a lot right now, but it would have made WAY more sense to have a female narrator, since most characters are female. The other book I'm reading, Article 5, is also pretty bad. So far, bad luck on October book choices for me. :(

currently reading Never Let me Go by kazuo ishiguro. roughly 2 thirds through ans its brilliant. I has already seen the movie so thought the book deserved a go

I've heard good things about that book. I've never seen the movie either, but if you say the book is good, I may try it as well. :)
Reading Parenting Beyond Belief and got a couple of the Stephen Colbert/The Daily Show books. My reading has been seriously erratic lately so we'll see how this goes.
I am reading Death comes to pemberely by P D james. But i`m not sure i will finish it, as a huge jane austen and specially pride and prejudice fun i think it is just wrong. The characters are completely washed out and i don`t like it at all.
I am working on Ghost in the Wires by Kevin Mitnik. I usually have a hard time with nonfiction, but this is an interesting tale.
The Diamond Age: Or, a Young Lady's Illustrated Primer by Neal Stephenson
This might take a while; however, I promised a friend to give this a try. I'm hoping it doesn't cause me to fall behind on other books.
