Discuss volume 1 here. Don't talk about the later volumes in this topic.

Can anybody tell me how many chapters are in volume 1? I'm forced to read Full Moon online since my library doesn't have it and I don't feel like waiting on an interlibrary loan. The website I'm reading it from is only split into chapters, not volumes.

You can usually guestimate about 5 chapters a manga, give or take...

There are 208 pages in book 1 (looked it up on ViZ's site), but I don't remember how many chapters. Maybe see how many pages are in the first or second chapter and guess based off that?

I'll see if my library has it (probably, since I remember reading it but not purchasing) and let you know for sure. :)

Thanks. I figured 4 or 5 chapters.

Finally finished volume 1. I wish I hadn't read it in segments like that, but reading manga online takes forever because it takes so long for the page to load. Also, the 5th chapter was horribly translated, so I hope I didn't miss too much or anything. I think I caught the general idea of what was going on.

So far, I liked it, and I will be continuing on to the next volume. Full Moon didn't quite stand out to me as amazing, but it's still really good. Although, I'll say what I said about La Corda d'Oro; I think Full Moon will work better as an anime since I'll actually be able to hear the songs.

Kristen | 1392 comments I just finished volume one. I can't decide if I liked it or not. Everything about is fine, it's just that it hasn't clicked with me yet. I'm going to read the next two volumes to see if my opinion changes. Only thing I can say for certain bothers me about this manga is the fact that Mitsuki is twelve. (view spoiler) Otherwise, this is a perfectly fine manga. I'll report back once I've read the next few volumes!

Selena's right: there are 5 chapters in volume 1. Volume 2 is chapters 6-9 and a bonus chapter and volume 3 is chapters 10-13 and two bonus chapters.

So I ordered it from the library and they gave me volume 2 instead of 1. ^^;;; Now I've reordered it and will hopefully get volume 1 this time...

My library has that problem sometimes, too. If you look at the catalog page for Yotsuba volume 1, you'll notice that several libraries have volumes one, two and three listed as volume one. If you want to order volume three(as I did) you can't guarantee that you won't get volumes one or two. I had to wait until my own branch got it before I could read it :(

I hope you get to read Full Moon soon because I have decided that I like it after reading the next two volumes! It's adorable.
