I read the book [Winter:] by Len Dieton about twenty years ago and enjoyed it quite a lot. An interesting character appeared toward the end of the book. This was Boris Winter, waving a communist flag as the Russians were taking Berlin. Dieton seemed to give some distinction to his character and I was curious whether he appeared in any later books. He was the half brother of the two Winter boys that were the central figures in the story.
