Oh yeah, I kept meaning to say - please go vote on lists guys! It'll give us all more choice, especially for those who have only friended a few people.

It is, but it's the kind of thing I sometimes do when I'm desperate to fit a book in! Although frankly, I think I sometimes spend so much time trying to fit my books into challenges I could just read a whole novel instead.

I have to say, I'm enjoying exploring the features so far, and I haven't even gone through all the tasks yet. I found a few nice books on the list of 'Popular' fiction (although sadly, most of the books there are from YA romance series. There's clearly a serious bias among Goodreads users...).

I've had a look at some of the quotes and found quite a few that I really like, but cannot necessarily find the book they come from. Any chance we can read a bok by the author of the quote, but not necessarily the book it comes from?

Ignore this, I discovered it's a lot easier to search by author (of book you want to read in any case) and find a quote to match! Loophole for anybody else in need of one...
Hehe, that's already what I've been doing... I just really like to look through quotes anyway.

Me too. Sometimes I just browse through the quotes and there are some great ones out there.

I found some nice ones that unfortunately didn't have a suitable tag, or didn't have any tag at all. Perhaps I should amend it to "find a quote that inspires you" and leave out the bit about the tags? There's less exploration involved, but it's simpler.

Ok, will leave it as is. I didn't expect that anyone would necessarily find a favourite quote; just a good one will do. It helps to spend some time going through the quotes; the best ones aren't always on top, and reading quotes makes you want to read more books :)
I just wanted to add one rule for that task - you can't add a quote to use, or ask someone to add a quote for you!

Select a book from your TBR list that has a quiz about it. To find a quiz relating to a certain book, click on the book's name to view the details, on the right hand side there is a section which says "Trivia about [book name]" or go to Explore -> Quizzes and type the book's name in the Search bar on the top right-hand side. Once you have completed the book, take the quiz (which must have at least 5 questions) and post the book read along with you quiz score.

You can find these groups by clicking on the Group heading and entering the group name into the search engine.

Then you choose the one that you are the closest to being first.
You then choose the person that is 1 number lower that you (so I choose #10 most followed). Then you read 1 book that is on their To-Read List or Read List.

I just checked this and only have one of these listed. The problem is that the person one below me is 11 years old so I may have a battle on my hands to find a book that meets our criteria in length. Can I go 2 below?

Actually you have a problem. I checked your stats and you have to choose #2 top readers and the number 3 on that list has nothing on his/her to read list.
I thought I had it bad, because mine has mostly manga books on his/her to read list. I have actually a grand total of 5 books to choose from that aren't manga or part 2 (or higher) in a series.

SA I thought you had to ready a book from the person above you on the list I'm obviously not that good a reader!
But hold on if that is the case then I can use the best reviewer list because surely the closest to being first is first! I thought the only reason we couldn't use it was because there had to be someone ahead of me.

Select the book you read for the previous task. Click on the Genre (right hand side) with the least number of users. Scroll down to the Popular genre books section and select a book from this list.
