Adding pictures to blog

I promise I searched for the answer before bothering you all, but I can't seem to figure out how to add pictures to my author blog. I know how to add cover pictures from Goodreads, but how do I add pictures from my personal collection (pictures saved on my computer as a jpeg file)? I do see some instructions on the sidebar of the blog, but they're wayyy beyond my skill set! Thanks for any help -
