I was thinking this girl ends up meeting this rather hideous monster, and she ends up befriending him, and then she later ends up falling in love with him, and he ends up falling in love with her. A young girl (I think it would be fun if she was younger than 13, but she doesn't have to be necessarily) searches for and ends up finding her long-lost father, but she also ends up discovering that her long-lost father is a monstrous beast and not a human. And I'd like to play the creature.
