What Do You Use As a Bookmark?

I'm the same when I'm in a rush to get somewhere or am being called. I don't let it sit all night like that though :p

Yeah, if I'm in a rush I will use something random but I just can't leave it like that because usually the spine creases and then it looks ugly!

I don't leave it like that for long either. I usually only do that for a few minutes while I do something like tuck one of my kids back into bed, answer the phone, talk with the hubster, etc.

I have so many bookmarks that I collected and was given over the years that I use one for a few months then switch it to another one.

I have many bookmarks. Most I get when I order at Bookdepository. Or I use traintickets, scraps of paper.

Though my one favourite is a metal bookmark I got from my boyfriend when we celebrated our 2 year anniversary. :)I will take a picture of it when I have time. :)

I used to use random things like receipts, a slip of paper and old playing cards but for my birthday last year a friend of mine gave me me a couple books and nice bookmark. Its shaped like a surfboard with some really beautiful floral carvings in the wood and a tassel hanging off one end.

My Friends sometimes buy me bookmarks because they know how much I love to read!! My best friend Genna bought me one for my birthday and its a lion and she recorded "Happy Birthday" on it!!

I am a sucker for pretty bookmarks, i buy them at the bookstore or online. I always have a bunch on hand. That said, sometimes I still end up using the library book card.

I book mark with anything I get my hands on, paper, coffee spoon (clean) another book, a pencil....

I know other people do this because I once found a twenty dollar bill in a library book! My mom made me give it to the librarian:(

If I have them near me, I use THG magnetic bookmarks. Otherwise I just use whatever object is next to me, haha.

I use leaf ... Or flower ....
I just pick a leaf from my garden.... Clean it and use as my bookmark ....
I adore my books ... So I beautify it with nature :D

I LOVE those little magnetic bookmarks that you just fold over the page and the magnet snaps together. Works pretty good when I my kids knock the book on the floor or decide to hold it upside down and shake it. They have staying power. Plus the weight helps hold down the one page a little.
