Eggplants are weirder. They're all trippy and purple and stuff. And they have 'egg' in the name. What do they have to do with eggs?

message 3: by John (new)

John The Totally Awesome | 322 comments I have a yam forest in my kitchen.

message 4: by Badgerlord, Marquis de Badger (new)

Badgerlord | 727 comments Mod
Is that a forest of yams, which is quite an alarming idea, as they grow subterranean, or a humorously decorated yam storage device?

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1849 comments Mod
Humors decorated yam storage device, I believe.

Badgerlord | 727 comments Mod
Did you make it? There is a market for that kind of thing?

Badgerlord | 727 comments Mod

A yam that has sprouted so much it resembles a small forest.

Badgerlord | 727 comments Mod
Ah. I see. Has it sprouted in your floor, or in some kind of earth filled pot?

message 10: by Laszlo, The Professor (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1849 comments Mod
Earth filled pot, I assume.

Badgerlord | 727 comments Mod
let's hope so. Otherwise there's a serious problem, or John has dirt flooring.

message 12: by Laszlo, The Professor (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1849 comments Mod
What would the problem be?

message 13: by Badgerlord, Marquis de Badger (new)

Badgerlord | 727 comments Mod
He has yams growing in his flooring. That can't be good for structural integrity.

message 14: by Laszlo, The Professor (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1849 comments Mod
True.

message 15: by John (new)

John The Totally Awesome | 322 comments It's growing on the counter.

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1849 comments Mod
Oh, oh no.

message 17: by John (new)

John The Totally Awesome | 322 comments Eventually I suppose its roots and stems will grow and expand until the entire kitchen is swallowed by it.

message 18: by Badgerlord, Marquis de Badger (new)

Badgerlord | 727 comments Mod
Well, I suppose you could place bent tubers for the roots to grow through, removing the tubes after the roots have become harder. This way, you could direct the growth of the roots to make a new kitchen from yams.

message 19: by John (new)

John The Totally Awesome | 322 comments Yeah!

Prof. River Song/ Xochil (profriversongxochil) | 109 comments I think kolrabi is weirder.

You're asking this about a Japanese cabbage? Is it even possible?

Prof. River Song/ Xochil (profriversongxochil) | 109 comments It just tastes like spicy cabbage. But, like REALLY SPICY!!!!!

message 29: by Monkeyduels (new)

Monkeyduels | 404 comments I like cabbage (but only when its raw) but i dont like spicy food.

message 30: by Allison (new)

Allison (allibean) | 321 comments Cabbage reminds me of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Which is kind of ironic, but remember how Charlie's family ate nothing but cabbage soup in the beginning?

message 31: by Allison (new)

Allison (allibean) | 321 comments I think of chocolate mostly. Which is not ironic, not in the least.

message 32: by Laszlo, The Professor (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1849 comments Mod
That movie was scary. And what was ironic about it?

message 33: by Allison (new)

Allison (allibean) | 321 comments I did always find that scene a little disturbing, but still... wow. Screaming you say?

Prof. River Song/ Xochil (profriversongxochil) | 109 comments I didn't know that when I posted something about spicy cabbage that we would have this huge conversation about it!

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 376 comments The store is always out of cabbage when a snow storm is coming
