Emma B Don't get me wrong, I love the characters and usually the plot. I love the whole series. But I am getting seriously tired of having to purchase all of the books and remember whats been happening in all the previous ones! I wish Rachel Caine would either start writing longer books, because many times I've thought that three of the books could be combined into one big one and save out so many pages of recapping. Or she should just finish up the series already. Your thoughts?

Bex Nooo! I love these books! I think theyre awesome. Although I do understand your point about having to recap on whats happened. I totally get that. But I cant help but want her to carry on!

same here but it has to end otherwise it will keep on dragging on and everybody hates that

Maia i've found that i have to read heaps in one go...if i stop for a while its usually a while untill i pick another one up so YES less books would be better! or as you said- bigger books!

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood Nooo i love them!! and seeing as like i have th frist wait---8 in one book(two in each book) and i only have Bite Club, Ghost Town, Last Breath, and Black Dawn in there own books it's not that bad.

.stechi. Yes, this series is starting to drag.

Jessica I feel like it could've been wrapped up books ago. It's the same thing over and over. Almost nothing major ever happens to the main characters to impact their lives or cause them to change anymore.

Very true Shweta. At least theres plenty in the series now so if she does stop any time soon, she'll have done an awesome series :)

Diane I haven't read the last 2 books because I was starting to get bored. I thought I'd wait and start reading them later.

Lisa Nance I stopped reading them at book 8. They seemed to always be in the house....Tried the "Wind Warden" --ick again. Miss Caine is just not for me.

chinami i hate this series. it doesn't have a good storyline at all.

Carrie Hinkel-Gill I happen to think the idea of vampires creating a city in which they can openly co-exist with humans (to a point) was pretty interesting, as I hadn't come across anything like it before I discovered this series. Before this, every series had 1 or 2 people a vamp trusted and that was it, otherwise the had to live more or less in secret, etc. I guess it helps that I like Claire and I love Myrnin. I like most of the characters, but I found these two to be my favorites, and Oliver has been the character who always finds a way to surprise me with his actions. He's a wild card, and I like that.

For those who haven't read the recent ones, some major changes have happened, and I found the series worth reading, so do not give up! I was afraid I was going to get bored, but it really picked up with Ghost Town (9) and just continued to get crazy, interesting and intriguing in Bite Club (10)! The last two (Last Breath 11, Black Dawn 12) shook things up in a major way, with some possibly damning consequences. I can't wait to see what happens in Bitter Blood and how some of the potential conflicts get resolved and how different things will end up being for the group.

In her latest couple of books - starting with Ghost Town (Book 9), she offers different POVs, which I felt added to the depth of the stories. It was nice to see Michael's, Shane's and Amelie's perspectives and to learn what happened to Eve and what she did when she wasn't with the group.

I also enjoyed learning more about the Glass house - won't say anything more, as that could spoil the story for people.

I don't want her to end the series, but if the storyline builds up to that (basically a complete end to Morganville itself), I'll be alright with it. I just don't want it to end with with unresolved issues.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd like to see these books made into movies...with the right cast of course! :)

Libbie I think I read the first four, then checked out how many there are. I abandoned the series not long after that. I don't mind series - I read tons of them. But if a series is 13 books in with no plot arc resolution? It starts to feel more like a soap opera and less like a book.

Demigod of donuts the next book is out in the uk in november then she is doing 2 more after that, book 14 is call fall of night and i dont know what 15 is going to be called, i love this series and i do agree that it needs to be wrapped up though i dont want it to end :'(

Diane Wow I thought I only had 2 left to read, but it's 3.
So yes end this series or I'm never going to get to the
end. I feel like it's already running it's course. I really like the books and it's been nice to see the characters grow. Just give them their happy ending.

it would be a bit too long for a movie considering their is 13 books out and two to go
