Catherine (puddingduck) | 5 comments I've just started my undergraduate year of university as an English literature major. While I was able to read nearly everything for my first term over the summer, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by my term two reading list. There's a lot of weekly reading that I have to do for this term, so I'm trying to fit next term's novels in between all of that, but it feels like I'm never going to finish fast enough. Alas, I'm an avid reader, but a slow one.

So, I'd like to know any of your tips for tackling a hefty reading list in the midst of social hubbub and academic obligations.

PS: Before you say it, no, I cannot get away with reading only some of the books on the reading list. Every text is compulsory.

Don't get caught up in agonizing over your workload with others eager to regale you with stories of how much they have to do. Just keep your head down and DO the work, then relax while they keep telling everyone how much they need to get done.

What Charly said, and what SP said, rewards really helped me when I was studying boring dry finance rubbish, and...you're doing great! Not leaving it all until the last minute, pushing forward, getting advice. Well done you! Now, get off Goodreads and read a book!
