I would make abortion a more complicated process, where each case was carefully analyzed and then from there was decided weather or not abortion would be the appropriate approach, it would probably get some protestors but this is my own personal view and probably wont happen anyway, so please if you do not agree with this don't try and fight with me..........

Ok say we ban guns and no citizen can own one. And you may cut down on some of the "crazy killers" But what about the crazy killers or terrorists who sneak guns in. And now we don't have any guns to protect ourselves and they have guns. What if there aren't any authorities around to protect you and your child is in danger. I just think that we should be able to protect ourselves.

It takes at least 30 for the police to get there.
If someone breaks in, you don't have time to call the police and do nothing, you would just be a sitting duck. Call the police while you get out your legally owned, licensed gun and protect yourself.
At any rate, it would be extremely stupid for anyone to break into my uncle's house, as he has a home security system. And by that I mean he's got at least two guns in every single room of his house and almost every kind legal in this country. Every single one is registered and legal and he knows perfectly well how to use them properly, and so does everyone in the house. Plus they live in the middle of nowhere, so if there was a problem it would take even longer for the police to arrive in which case whoever decided to break it would be hog-tied in the front yard.
But you have the house itself to use! Glasses, forks, knives, books, wood, etc!
Think of how long it takes a bullet to travel ten feet. In that amount of time, would you have time to grab a weapon and disable whoever has a gun without one of your own?
Okay. . . I'm listening to Lizzie read some of these out to me and I'm seriously considering banging my head so hard against the desk in front of me it breaks in half. First of all, since as soon as I say this I'm going to get attacked and accused of hating gays, I DON'T HATE GAYS, in fact some of my best friends like people of the same gender. I have no issue with a legal civil union between very serious same-sex partners. I do not believe in gay marriage; reason being is that marriage is between a man, a woman, and God. My two extremely gay cousins completely agree with me and they have been living together for almost thirty years, along with having an amazing daughter who is now twenty-six, even if gay marriage becomes legal they won't get married, they do have a civil union by the state with all the same benefits that a married couple has. Now to things that I care more about, I'm a huge supporter of gun rights. Seriously GUNS DO NOT KILL PEOPLE. They are inanimate objects! They have no brains, hearts, or souls. They cannot think, they are metal weapons that have no personal beliefs. The wrong person gets their hands on a gun yes it is dangerous, but more than likely they didn't get it legally, either they stole it, got it off the black market, or other illegal action that you can come by any weapon with. Here's an example of when guns were made illegal in a major world power country: Germany 1938, Hitler was slowly growing in power as his plot of taking over went full steam ahead. He used gun control as an excuse to take guns away from law abiding citizens that opposed him. This right here was reason to believe that he was taking over much more that necessary. See any of this trying to happen in the U.S. now? Because I sure do. Some people might think that guns around children are overly-dangerous, if not taught how to handle them this is absolutely correct. If taught how to handle them properly, and they are kept in the correct place at all times, they are not dangerous, actually they are very helpful in the protection of one’s family and property. If guns are banned the serial killer that is crazy and going out to kill a bunch of people is going to still kill those people without a gun, they are just going to use some other weapon they can get their hands on. That guy who is going to rob your house at gunpoint is still going to commit the crime, he will probably still use a gun also, you, the law abiding citizen, are going to have no way to protect yourself, which means you’ll either die or be traumatized.
I’ll stop ranting now since most of you won’t care how logical I am, you will attack me with repetitive claims that you have said countless times in this topic already. Thank you for your time.

Sheesh, do NOT being in religion into this. All people are equal under the law, including the right to marriage. It is appalling how hay marriage is illegal. Religion has gone too far. They need to just butt out. If you truly love someone, gender is regardless, then they should get married! I do believe in God and His word, but some of his words go against my personal belief. This is a perfect example

okay, so this is random, but we had this on our first day of school quiz in math which we got back on the last day of school (yesterday) and one of the guys in my class decided to put 'a no pants law' where you don't have to wear pants. most of us just picked changing the driving age so we were all like O.o
1. outlaw any company that harms the environment
2. free schooling and healthcare to all
3.free food water and housing to those who need it (not lying come on now.)
4.make smoking illegal
and other coolingly amazing cheese balls
