Theories you wish to be true, but are not

Have any of you got any theories you know are wrong but wish they were right?
Personally my biggest one is, Thom being Elayne's father. At first, it was seemed possible, but as we get deeper it becomes not possible, or true.
The other is..Elaida being Black Ajah. So much from FoH to tGS pointed to her being Black, but with Verin's book I personally gutted she wasn't.

I haven't read past Book 11, but I always wished that Elayne/Aviendha/Min were all somehow Ilyena reborn. It would just...explain so much. Rand meeting Min once, and later dreaming about her as much as he did Elayne. Elayne and Min almost instantly willng to share him, even though it was unheard of in their lifestyle.

I'm not sure if anything changes past Book 11 (and don't want to know!) but it doesn't sound like a soul would be reborn into 3 people like that.
