Can not combine two books

Hello. I was granted the libraruan status today but still can not combine theese two editions. Why?

To combine two editions, each edition need to have the same author name in the primary author position. In this case, you'll want to add the English spellings of the authors' names in the first two places and keep the Russian spellings as secondary authors. Then you'll be able to combine them.

No, this is actually the proper author entry for a book which has been translated into a language with a different character set. You have to write the name twice.

So, every book that has been translated to English (or has been translated from English to other language) should have the author name twice, one for each character set, in every non English edition. Right?

I couldn't find it written in the Librarian manual.
