Shenandoah Kepler | 1 comments A Sensual Garden: Creating a Place for Being in the Present Moment
Free NonFiction Book on garden design for review. It is a very large file-size eBook available in three formats: for the Kindle (but if you have a Kindle paperwhite, it is a full color file, so won't display as well as author intended); for the Apple iPad or Mac (an iBook); for other tablets and computers (a pdf format). The files are from 60 to 120MB in size, so will provide you the book via my Dropbox. Will also provide links to book on Amazon and iTunes. If interested in receiving book, please send me a message with you email and choice of format. Thanks.
Blurb:
This beautiful book introduces you to your five senses in your garden, then shows you through extraordinarily beautiful photographs in five short chapters (one on each sense) background information, tips, and advice on how to add plants and landscape features to enhance the sensual (sight, smell, touch, taste, sound) effects of your garden. Finally, the author will show you how to deliberately take in experiences from that garden to be mindful in the present moment.

Mindfulness has been shown to be important for improving mental and physical health, and developing compassion, love, patience, generosity, and forgiveness.

Dylan Orchard I've just made it permafree, so the link below will lead you to all the various downloads for different formats. Reviews are much appreciated, ideally good ones of course but you can but hope eh? At any rate, more readers is never a bad thing. http://www.laikareb.com/dylanorchard/...

Laikanist Times is the story of one planet divided by a few million years and a fistful of species divides. While the Bald Chimps are seeing apparitions and finding God (or possibly Dog) the dogs are indulging in some quantum meddling and the humans? Well, they had their time.

Rex the Bulldog sets out to change the world, for better or worse, Gdunk the Chimp aims for the stars, Yessa aims to be left alone and Raeget and Kaisabosen aim for, well, something probably. All alongside a host of characters including the good, the bad and the ugly with Jinx and the Four-Leggers, the Laikanists, the Whippet Brotherhood and the Great Salmonists each doing their best to ignore what they need to and find what they want. And all the while Laika the Space Dog is doing something, or not, depending on your point of view.

Laikanist Times is a strange and surrealist parable on the wonders and woes of religion, science, belief and talking animals. As the first novella from Dylan Malik Orchard it’s less a declaration of intent and more a declaration of confusion. With the answers to none of your questions and a slew of doubts to introduce. Humour, farce, satire, sloths and Sci-Fi are mixed together in a heady literary brew*.

*’heady literary brew’ may or may not actually mean anything.

And why should you download it? Because your life is at least 0.00152% worse for not doing so – and that could make all the difference. You only regret the things you didn’t do as they say, and wouldn’t it be a kicker to look up from your death bed, a bright white light hovering before you and think ‘damn, too late to grab that novella now’? Of course that’s a pretty ridiculous saying, especially if the things you do include taking a load of crack and whoring yourself out to truckers while losing your job and family all to pay for more of that sweet sweet rock. But I can 99% guarantee that reading Laikanist Times won’t leave you toothless, emaciated and on your knees servicing Billy Bob on his run out of Podunk, Ohio for five bucks on a rainy night. Just don’t hold me accountable for that remaining 1%.

How do I write you a review? As a History major, I loved your book. I wish the Appendix at the back was at the front, it would help those who are expecting a trite werewolf story, only to end up in Ancient Rome with a vengeance. This story is richly layered, many might get delayed with explanations of weapons, everyday life and Roman Civil law, but your rationale for definition is right on point. You write as though only limited knowledge of Ancient Rome and their fight against Germanic hordes is known by the reader, a very good decision.

Please forward to me how I can write your review, as I downloaded a pdf file.

Sincerely,

Trisha A. Lindsey

Dylan Hart | 2 comments Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some more reviews of my novel, "An Odd Way to Get Even", on Amazon. It's tough for me to place it in a genre, but it's a literary thriller with a lot of dark humor.
Here's a quick synopsis:

Jarod Scott loves learning, helping people, and getting loaded every chance he gets. Since he's at the top of his pre-med classes while working a nearly full time job, his life seems well in control. But when he awakens after passing out at a party to find body jewelry in a private area he would never voluntarily get pierced, his healthy sense of self is shaken.

He handles the matter poorly at first. He lies to his girlfriend about it. He drinks more. His powerful concentration falters. And his normally bright personality darkens as he becomes consumed with figuring out who did it and how to respond.

He identifies some suspects early on. One is a tattoo artist who aspires for recognition in the broader art world, the other is a piercer who works for him. Soon, he figures out a way to spend time with them, hoping to establish their involvement. He meets one of the suspect's girlfriend, a striking young woman he is convinced deserves better. She and Jarod forge a friendship that plays a key role in how he views the incident.

In trying to prove the men's guilt he must confront himself. Grappling with his irresponsibility reveals the importance of forgiveness and futility of revenge. Jarod doesn't forget the transgression, though; he just decides he must devise a punishment to transform the perpetrator into a better person, someone who won't hurt anyone again. The retaliation he conceives carries risk, not just of utter failure and further humiliation, but damage to old and new relationships. And before he can change the person who hurt him, he must try to fix himself along the way.

I'll be glad to get anyone interested in reviewing it a free copy in PDF or mobi files. Please email me at authordylanhart@gmail.com or reply to this thread with your contact info.

I'm also looking to review books for others - I've found it improves my writing and enriches my experience of the book.

I look forward to some honest reviews and making some friends on this group.

All Best!

Dylan

Goodreads link: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

BLURB:

Space is vast and untamed, and it holds many secrets. Now two individuals from opposite ends of settled space are on a collision course with the darkest of those secrets, even as the world threatens to explode around them.

The year is 2322. Humanity has expanded into the stars, inhabiting over 100 worlds across a third of the galaxy. Though thriving as never before, they have discovered neither alien life nor the key to utopia. Earth struggles to retain authority over far-flung planets and free-wheeling corporations while an uneasy armistice with a breakaway federation hangs by a thread as the former rebels rise in wealth and power.

Alexis Solovy is Earth Alliance royalty, her father a fallen war hero and her mother an influential military leader. But she seeks only the freedom of space and has made a fortune by reading the patterns in the chaos to discover the hidden wonders of the stars.

Nothing about her latest objective suggests the secret it conceals will turn her life— not to mention the entire galaxy—upside down. But a chance encounter with a mysterious spy leads to a discovery which will thrust Alex into the middle of a galactic power struggle and a sinister conspiracy, whether she likes it or not.

When faced with its greatest challenge, will humanity rise to triumph, or fall to ruin?

Aurora Rising is an epic tale of galaxy-spanning adventure, of the thrill of discovery and the unquenchable desire to reach ever farther into the unknown. It's a tale of humanity at its best and worst, of love and loss, of fear and heroism. It's the story of a woman who sought the stars and found more than anyone imagined possible.

Ally Benson is not your average woman. Ally is Ryker’s mate; even if he refuses to claim her. When Ally is chosen to teach the pack alphas about female pleasure, Ryker’s control is put to the ultimate test. Ally wants the brutish shifter in her bed and she’s not afraid to play dirty to get him there. But can Ally really handle the needs of an alpha wolf? And how long can Ryker continue to fight against the instinct to claim his mate, especially when he’s...Bound by Her Scent.

Warning: This is a complete short novella. It contains a curvy BBW heroine who craves the rough and raw pleasure that only her sexy alpha male hero can provide. It makes for a very spicy read that may be too hot for some to handle.

Meet Hella.
She kills zombies.
It's not her fault.
Her virus kills them.
Worse, her bite turns humans into them.

The Fossegrimen Folly (Camp Lac Igam, Book 1) by Michael Almich The Fossegrimen Folly
The Huldra Hostility (Camp Lac Igam - Book 2) by Michael Almich The Huldra Hostility

I just published the second book in my YA fantasy/action series, Camp Lac Igam. I am looking for reviews in exchange for free e-reader versions of the book. These are easy reads, but you may need to read book 1, The Fossegrimen Folly, prior to the new release, The Huldra Hostility. I guess I am thus asking for a series review... lol. These are clean books for age range from 11 to 99! send me a GR message or email at almich.mike@gmail.com. Thanks!

Robin Juliet (authorrobinjuliet) | 6 comments Hello Potential Reviewers!

My name is Robin Juliet, and I write sexy stories. My second book is due for release later this month, and I wonder if any of you might want to take a sneak peek at it and let the world know what you think?

My narrator is a romance novelist who is tired with writing about the rich, famous, perfect-bodied characters she's been known to create in the past. She wonders what it would be like to write about real people having real sex in the real world?

INVOLUNTARY REFLEX is her answer to that question.

Filled with erotic tales she thinks up as she interacts with friends and neighbors, this novella features mature characters set in contemporary Colorado doing adult things. Wink.

If you like erotic romance--and you're tired of the whole billionaire/virgin routine--this book may be for you. Why not give it a try?

If you agree to write a review, I'm happy to send you a link to a FREE download. Please email me and let me know you're interested.

Thank you,
Robin Juliet Robin Juliet

Melissa | 3 comments A Healing Heart
A Healing Heart by Melissa A. Hanson

A YA Romance clean read with no sex, fast paced and full of ups and downs. Beyond the sweet romance between two teenagers on the cusp of adulthood, the book is filled with deeper meaning. Life often throws us curve balls and can be downright rough, but often down the road some of the best things can come out of the heartbreak. It’s a story about positive thinking and realizing that being happy isn’t about someone else making you happy, but a decision that each person themselves has to make. Sometimes love and healing can come in unexpected forms.
