it's too easy to pick Fanny or Lucy...they're so obvious... my least fav character in S&S is definitely Edward Dashwood. The man with no spine -.-

Jane Austen was very, very shrewd in exposing the most dangerous threaten to poor women as both poor and rich women! So, I think the most embarassing characters are Lucy Steele and Fanny Dashwood, greedy social climbers.
Duh! John Willoughby. He's a pain in the ass !!!!
