Darn responsibilities anyway! If only we could always do what we wanted! ;). I would be happy to continue.
I'd be happy to continue hosting the read the month challenges. I've hosted all year this year so I guess it's my comfort area! :D But, if someone else wants a turn... I guess they can take a crack at it too. ;)
Thanks Lexa! We would love for you to continue hosting the read the month challenge next year! I will check with Yz about what language we will be using. I hadn't gotten to the other challenges yet, wanted to sort out the hosts for the other two monthly challenges. Thanks so much for your help, we really appreciate it!!
Hey there,I will be happy to do November Monthly challenge for 2013. It seems like it's so far away, but I bet it will be here before we know it.
Hi everyone,Just trying to get the 2013 yearly challenge hosts in order.
We need hosts for -
2013 Create-Your-Own Reading Challenge
2013 A-Z Friends Challenge
If anyone is interested in hosting on of those let me know :)

Fran, I will take the friends challenge, but I just have a question or two.
First, I will basically cut and paste 2012 challenge rules and description for That challenge, right? And then I'm just responsible for answering questions and keeping a participant list? What else?
Tina, basically that's it. You have to keep track of the participants and post their progress at the end of the year. Also, check the list once a while to encourage the participants.
And I'm not getting notifications for this thread. Even the last comment was 5 mins ago and I didn't get one. GR is acting weird
I haven't been getting many notifications for weeks and weeks now. On and off, late, it's been so inconsistent. GR has a lot of work to do.
I don't want to step on toes. If Nicola prefers it she can have it. I definitely don't think I'm up for the create your own, though. Just let me know.
Don't worry about stepping on my toes Tina - I'm okay with that. I can do Create-your-own as long as I am not the one creating!
Thanks Nicola, no creating for you- just maintaining the thread, LOL!There are a few more challenges coming up at the beginning of 2013 that we will be needing help with. So don't think this is the last you will hear from us with regards to hosting help everyone!
Fran, I wouldn't mind signing up for another PIFM later in the year, unless you want to keep the slots open in case someone new wants to jump in.
You were reading my mind! Was just going to ask you...How about September? Or do you have another month in mind?
You know, I started to say September is fine, but thinking about how insane August was around here this year, why don't you give me October instead? All of our summer craziness pretty much comes to a screeching halt once Labor Day is past. ;)
Breann wrote: "I can do another PIFM in September."Thanks Breann :)
Hina, I hope it's ok I gave you another PIFM. Let me know if Nov. doesn't work- thanks!
I just joined the group recently and didn't join the challenges as I prefer to start from the beginning so am really looking forward to joining these challenges in 2013!

THe year-long ones are probably harder but the RITA Awards just started on October 1st and the Reading tournament Hearts & Tears started Oct 1st as well, so it would be perfect timing to join.
I'm happy to do the December PIFM if no one else has volunteered yet. Gives me a whole year to figure out categories lol :)
Hi Danielle,The Monthly Challenge hosting spots are all taken but there are several other challenges for 2013 that may need some help. Dee has some longer running challenges planned. If you'd like, I will let her know you are interested and she can PM you with the details.
Just wondering if anyone has decided on what language we will be using for read the months/seasons yet. If no one has, I would be happy to pick something. I just know That winter is coming up in a few weeks, and I'll need to know by then, so no big rush! Thanks!
Hi....I was just wondering....are there plans for another type of series challenge for 2013? I'd started planning an A-Z challenge then just discovered that there wasn't one on the list. Just a curious mind being....curious. :)
we are still talking about ideas ;) of course, if you want to host one - we are always open to
Hahaha. If y'all need more victims, I'd be happy to victimize myself. :) I also have another challenge idea to throw at y'all once I get it more focused.
When will the Create-your-Own challenge be up and running? I want to challenge myself and see how many series/trilogy's I can read from Jan 2013 - Dec 2013 from Book 1 of the series to the last published book?
Yz will post that challenge soon I think McWillow... you could go ahead and work out yr lists; it will definitely turn up before the end of the year.

Hi Maria-Anne, I don't mind at all. I've also started a Virgin River Series read if your interested, I see your reading a Robyn Carr novel at the moment. I've had no other takers at the moment.
