Currently we are undergoing the plot lines and whatnot. We've decided to sort of play it by year (and follow the roleplay), and just see how things pan out. I've recreated my drawing style so everything looks neater and more professional, and this time I do not plan on doing character reference sheets unless I change my mind later on. Hopefully I'll have the first page out by the end of October or early-mid November. It's a hard process, mind you, and what with school and extra-curricular activities, it's hard to find time to work on such a deep project. Hopefully you all will love it once it's released!
How will the comic be organized?
I plan to work with my fellow moderators before each page is completed and sketched out. Normally Axela writes the script, giving me a nice idea of what I'm going to be working with. The script includes a nice description of what each panel will contain, dialog, etc. But seeing as most of us are extremely busy, sometimes myself or Ella will be doing the script writing.
Because of time crunches I won't have time to make a cover or issue cover until I have enough time (Winter break, etc.), so I'm planning on diving right into the comic pages.
Where will these comic pages be posted? Here on Goodreads?
They will not be posted on Goodreads. I obtain a DeviantArt account, and it is far easier to post and manage comic pages there. The link to my page will be posted later on in the FAQ.
Can you give me an idea of what the drawing style will be like? Realistic, anime, what?
Many people have told me my style is similar to the film Balto. It's the animated version, and I've never seen it. Personally, I think my style is a generic cartoon wolf, but more detail and whatnot. Something you would maybe see in a more American based anime, or a Disney film.
Will my character play an important role in the comic?
I honestly don't know. This is the most frequently asked question, and it's like a broken record. It's all up to you, really, if you want them to have a big role. Role play your character a LOT, and obviously they'll find a way to worm themselves into the plot. Also, detailed character sheets and GOOD QUALITY roleplaying is a great advantage. Note, this is a advanced role play, so I really shouldn't have to tell you guys that. I'm more likely to make a wolf with an enormous, long, detailed character sheet, and long, detailed posts the main character rather than someone who has a two-sentence appearance and one-sentence posts.
Will you give us a general update about the comic often?
Not on here. My Deviantart account, TeaDrinkingCat will have constant updates and whatnot. If you have your own DA, I suggest you add me to your Deviantwatch so that you get updates on it.
(*Note: My DA is currently stockpiled with ponies. But Territory stuff is working it's way in)
