Yeah... they are reading machines :) I guess I'll try my luck with other challenge. The book I am reading now is so good that I'd like to take it slow to savor all the detail :) ... besides, admitting defeat now will help protect my reputation :D

Since I can't seem to finish To Kill A Mockingbird (*classic is really not my thing....too boring for me to continue*), I decide to read some Harlequin books (*not exactly YA*) that I bought and yet to start on.
Well....I have no idea if the review is acceptable since its kinda short.

I'm not a big fan of the "classics" either. I can (kind of) see how they would've been good books years ago, but not anymore. There are so many good books out there. I hate that they expect kids to read books that I still can't stand as an adult. I wish they'd change what high school kids are required to read. If they had to read books that really held their attention then maybe there would be more young readers out there.
Not a fan of classics too! Good thing they are not required reading in our school!!

Oh no! I had NO idea we had to have it in by your time! This is my first week of a challenge since I just joined. I thought I had all day tomorrow. But if I am correct you are 15 hours ahead of me? It is currently 8:42 AM on Friday. So to meet the time I have to have all of my reviews done by 8:59 AM MY time tomorrow? Is that right?

Boy, I'll say! And I actually have done 3 reviews so far for this challenge; however, since I just read that my reviews are due by 11:59 PM Jona's time, I won't be able to "compete" anymore because I am 15 hours behind. I thought I had until 11:59 MY time. I was going to do more reviews tomorrow and I still have 3 books to finish reading. :o(
I didn't realize either. I joined the competition last week, but I was up at 6:00am on Saturday getting reading for a wedding I didn't get home until close to 1:00am Sunday, so I didn't notice when the challenge ended. Oh well, I'll just have to speed read now I guess! Lol :)

I may not (okay, won't) beat them, but at least I'm reading even more.

I am SO proud of each one of them! My oldest is a girl who is now 18. She plays guitar and has the voice of an angel. The next oldest is a boy and he also sings and plays piano and loves acting. I'll save the other 17 for another time. If I go in order of age, MAYBE I won't forget.
