Sidrah A lot of people seem to be tired of this book.. i personally think she did stretch it out quite long and could have taken some of the more useless details out to make it a bit shorter but i think it'll all make sense in the end. I like the series, despite the length and cant wait for the next book.

True. If this series alternated between 2 or three characters, it would be better. But I miss when they just had Zoey's P.O.V.

Um, are we not allowed to have an opinion? Because pretty much in that paragraph you said that you wish us *haters*, which I'm not by the way, I loved this series, but not lovin it now, would go to the same place Neferet is going to end up. So I think that you shouldn't judge people for having an opinion.

If this series was only from Zoey's P.O.V. each book wouldn't be nearly as long as it is. The only reason each book manages to be a little over 300 pages is because the authors add in a bunch of stuff that Zoey can't see, like stuff between Shaylin and Erik and Stevie Rae and Rehpaim. If it was only from Zoey's point of view, the last five books would have only been 200 pages long, and nobody would pay $20.00 dollars each.

True, but it also means that instead of making 12 books, she could narrow it down to , 6 or 7 maybe? I don't know, but I know there would be as many.

Kristen Callihan I feel like the concept of these books was so original and unique, because I hadn't come across anything like it before. I have to say the multiple partners/relationships thing is a bit of a turn off for me, but other than the sexual issues, I do feel like there is some intrigue left in the story. I agree that they are a little draw out, and at this point the only reason I'm still reading is because I feel like I have really invested in the book and want to know how it ends. I almost feel like they have started overdoing it a bit. Not everyone is going to be in a relationship, and how many special abilities can one person really have at this point and it still be considered realisticly justifiable considering its one of the newest characters? I just would like to have this big, major battle already that they have been building up for. If this book is all wrapped up nice in a bow at the end, I will be supper let down. I need some lives lost, some major battle scars, and a better restoration of the balance of light/goodness and dark/badness. At this point, I feel like the final battle is all that is left to be had to make it really worth while and justifiable for being so long!

Shail I'm in the same boat as a lot of other people. I really liked this series at first, but they are just dragging it out! I mean, the last book moved the story along a grand total of like 48 hours! To me, that's just crazy. It wasn't even a super exciting 48 hours. I just feel like the writing isn't getting any better as each book progresses. The story isn't getting better either. They're just rehashing the same love triangles from the beginning of the series and bringing back old characters (who need to stay dead)! Nothing is happening and it's getting really boring to read.

Avelina Harrington I am so sick of the product placement in these books. The only reason I continue to read them is because I cant not finish a series no matter how sick of it I am.

Cyn first they were really addictive and good, and now it is a complete waste of time to read but want to read it to see what hapen you know, but it annoys me soooo much

Wait...did you say THEY'RE MAKING MOVIES. OMFG I AM DYING!!! YOU'RE LYING...!

Nope. The series rights have been bought, and PC Cast has made some updates from time to time. They're casting and writing the script and they're planning production. I think the movie is definitely happening.

Logan To be completely honest, if I'm stuck in any other POV than Zoey's, I lose interest FAST. But I agree(not that it should have end several books ago however)that some of the books could have been combined together.

If the Casts stay away from the script then it could be a good movie.

Yeah, I saw it was happening too. I would rather it be a tv show because when there are as many books as this, tv shows work well. I will be interested in watching the movie though, because I would love to see who they cast for Zoey and Eric. Eric always has and always will be my favorite choice for Zoey.

I can't believe there's going to be TWO MORE BOOKS. I just can't. GOD, JUST KILL NEFERET AND END THE SERIES ALREADY!!!
Has anyone else noticed how Zoey and the nerd herd never go on the offensive? They don't act, they just REact. Maybe if they took the fight to Neferet instead of the other way around, this series would've ended three or four books ago!

message 66: by Carol (new)

Carol I have to agree with all you guys. I didn't say anything cause I thought maybe I wasn't looking at the sequels in a fair light, but inside my head I'm like oh god not another one!. The last book I liked that I almost tolerated to a point was the 5th one. I think I stopped buying them after that because I felt like the authors just kept writing because they knew the fame of the first original books, (that were actually good) sold well and they figured they could float crappy writing because of the cover. Lets face it once you buy the book and read it there really isn't much of a chance your getting your money back . Your money is spent and gone,. I am super dissapointed I would sit down with the first 5 and not be able to get up until i was done . Now I cant even be bothered to complete the series even for collecting sake I'm glad other feel the same.
