Revathy Menon how do we read a book given in this site

message 2: by Paul (new) - added it

Paul Vincent I think your question needs some clarification. Do you mean do you don't own, or have access to, a copy of the book and what to know where you can get it from?

I'm not sure what else your question means, but the answer seems totally obvious, so I'm left a little confused.

Revathy Menon i dont own the book

Will IV I hear they sell books at the bookstore. And rumor has it you can rent them for free at a library.

Will IV It's a "right of passage" in many cultures. So, no.

Will IV It marks the passage into adulthood; from girl to woman. It's an important event in the lives of many women, and is given particular significance in many cultures.

Licha Wow. This thread has just gone way off the loop.

Will IV It started off as a disaster; there's no where to go but up from the OP.

Licha So very true. However, your answer was quite candid and accurate. (This goes to Will.)

Will IV I'm in a bit of a snarky mood if you can't tell :D

Licha No problem Will. Did not take it in any wrong way. Like you said, there was no where else to go with this thread from the get-go.

Revathy Menon what do you mean by growing up

message 17: by Mary (new) - rated it 4 stars

Mary Sunburst wrote: "Like stories about girls going though puberty ect. Or like middle school books..."

You could try "Are You There God, It's Me Margaret" by Judy Blume.

message 18: by Mary (new) - rated it 4 stars

Mary How about "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn" by Betty Smith?

message 19: by Mary (new) - rated it 4 stars

Mary If you do a search of the "popular shelves" section of this site, (using puberty, growing up, coming of age just for example) you will get a list of many different books that would interest you.
