The defining moment was when my husband was asking me about my teenage years and I was drawing a blank when he asked me about being 17-21 years of age. When I started to try and answer my would go blank and he said I would just go quiet mid-sentence. He would get frustrated while I just sat looking blank.
He told me to start writing it down in a timeline to try and bring back the past. After fighting it for a while I started it and it became a huge roller coaster ride of emotions. I decided to find out why certain things would happen to me so I researched PTSD and RTS, finding I had it all. It empowered me into healing and making me the happy quirky person I am today

It is so wonderful you had the care, concern and encouragement of your husband to finally let go, get it out in the open and eventually put your experiences into writing. I can see where your story has great potential to touch the lives of others as they reflect and perhaps discover healing for their own brokenness.
